Since 1960, Ormco, one of the many successful companies owned by Danaher Corporation, has been developing, manufacturing, and marketing a broad line of orthodontic appliances and related products for sale in the U.S. and abroad. Ormco provides orthodontists with brackets, wires, adhesives, and ancillary supplies used through the course of treatment.
Ormco believes the direct contact of its sales force with orthodontists facilitates the identification and verification of market trends and new product opportunities. Ormco works closely with orthodontists to improve existing products and develop new products primarily through its Champion programs in which selected orthodontists assist Ormco in designing, developing and ultimately educating users on new product and technique innovations.
Reportingto the Sr. Director-Commercial Growth, the Digital Solutions Specialist willutilize a consultative sales and educational approach to influence doctors andstaff to purchase and utilize Ormco's digital product portfolio. Meet withassigned group of orthodontists and orthodontic staff on a consistent basis topromote products and services, relate new product information, receive feedbackon the company's products and services, and provide in depthtraining/onboarding. She/He travels throughout assigned territory to call onestablished and prospective customers to increase product utilization, or toqualify them as prospects for the company. The Digital Solutions Specialist isresponsible to maintain set number of meetings per day, week and month in orderto grow sales dollars and utilization to established levels over prior year.
Ormco's digital portfolio suite
Providesquick response and resolution to customers' requests.
Beseen as the technical expert for Ormco's digital portfolio within the region.Provide training and support the Ormco Field Team as needed as it relates tothis portfolio.
Meetsmonthly, quarterly and annual quotas.
Establishesa track record of converting key brand business to Ormco's digital productsuite from the competition.
Understandsand support the company's sales training policies and procedures to provideproper and effective treatment to all of the company's customers.
Relatesnew product ideas and product extensions to Marketing for evaluation.
Createsand utilizes sales and educational strategies, aids and approaches, in order toincrease customer utilization and educational activity in their territory.
Followscorporate policies regarding customer entertainment and customer relations.
Developsand fully utilizes territory management tools to include account coverage andfiscal management. This would include block plan organization and budgetcompliance.
Reviewsand reports complaints received from customers and recommends corrective actionthrough established reporting guidelines.
Collectsand reports competitive information to Marketing Management.
Preparesperiodic reports including weekly call reports, weekly expense reports,periodic general reports, and other reports as assigned.
Displaysor demonstrates product, using all necessary selling aids and clinicallyestablished techniques to emphasize salable features and benefits.
Estimatesdate of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company's production anddelivery schedules.
Preparesreports of business transactions and maintains expense accounts.

40%overnight travel required.
Overseastravel may be required to attend trainings and meetings.
