Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Design and develop complex, high volume, and scalable applications for mobile client and server-side components using Agile methodologies and development tools that include Java, Spring and microservices on cloud (Pivotal Cloud Foundry). Update software to ensure computability with the latest versions of platform tools, devices, browsers, and operating systems.

Design and implement application services for authentication, notification, and payment related functionalities using WebSphere, J2EE, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Work with multiple business units to define and document software that will meet business objectives. Design and develop applications and features for Banking Domain using architecture patterns on authorization/login and Mobile User Interface design guideline for Biometrics Authentication and Multi Factor Authentication.

Assist with software engineering for mobile application development, including reviewing source code, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to product roadmaps. Provide Tier 3 production support and develop solutions for advanced systems issues. Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to implement tools to support continuous integration and delivery of software applications and services.

Identify, implement and document incidents of troubleshooting and make improvements for enhanced process and software. Collaborate with Chief Technology Officer, Information Security and other support organizations to deliver robust digital products that meet Citi standards. Analyze production issues using AppDynamics and Splunk.

Collaborate with external vendors to meet end-to-end component needs and ensure alignment with business requirements. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience as a Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst, Microservices Developer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or related position involving designing and developing applications and features for banking domain.

Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 6 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full span of experience must include: Design and implementation of architecture of applications; Design, develop and integrate throughout the complete lifecycle of Java and J2EE development for highly scalable applications; Agile methodologies:

SCRUM, RUP, XP; Developing Microservices and integration by using middleware technologies that include Spring framework, Chassis framework, RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON; Cloud technologies: Pivotal Cloud Foundry; AppDynamics and Splunk to analyze production issues; CICD tools (Jenkins, Maven, ANT) with test execution automation and code coverage integration (PMD, CPD, SonarQube, UTC with builds); Elliptic Curve cryptography and OAuth Security frameworks; and Design and develop applications and features for Banking Domain using architecture patterns on authorization/login and Mobile User Interface design guideline for Biometrics Authentication and Multi Factor Authentication.
