We are seeking a Digital Product and Design Senior Manager to drive sweetgreen's digital experience vision and lead a team of product managers and user experience designers. The role is crucial in overseeing the development and enhancement of digital products with a strong emphasis on user-centric design. You and your team will deliver a vision, roadmap and product designs for our customer-facing products, while also maturing our capabilities based on your vision for the space. This role is not about "tell me what to do, and I'll write the requirements", this role is about guiding the team ideating and making the right decisions for our customers and company.

Your Responsibilities

• Product Strategy: Develop and refine the digital product strategy in alignment with Sweetgreen's goals and objectives. This involves understanding market trends, user needs, and business requirements to guide product direction.

• Team Leadership: Lead a team of product managers and product designers to enable brand differentiating digital products. Work closely with business stakeholders, including executives, and internal teams, to communicate product vision, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on priorities and goals.

• Product Design: Drive the creation of intuitive, and seamless user experiences across digital platforms. This includes conducting user research, creating personas, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing to inform design decisions.

• Product Development: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, marketing, and operations, to define product requirements, prioritize features, and manage the product development from ideation to launch.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics, user feedback, and metrics to continuously evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Make data-driven decisions to optimize user experience and drive business outcomes.

• Leading future state: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and design trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market. Encourage a culture of learning and experimentation within the team.

By effectively fulfilling these responsibilities, you will contribute to the development of successful digital products that meet user needs, drive business growth, and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Your Accomplishments

• 10+ years of experience in digital product management role. Ideally a mix of startup and larger company, but what matters is what you have done.

• Proven experience designing, maintaining a roadmap, and executing the vision behind it, complete with tradeoffs, dependencies, and positive returns on investment.

• Culture of ownership, collaboration, and results within blended corporate and partner teams

• Track record of delivering data-driven outcomes and insights, as well as influencing business and technology decisions.

• Passionate about food. Ideally, you know what you eat, and you realize how important it is to connect people and communities to real food. Both for people and for the planet.

Salary range for this role:

Starting salary range based on experience

$160,000-$185,000 USD
