As a Digital Product Specialist focusing on our CareSearch Reward$ program for national accounts and other clients, as well as our decision support tools, you will have basic knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in a specific function or skill. You will perform routine or structured work and respond to routine or standard requests. You will use existing procedures and facts to solve routine problems or conduct routine analyses and partner with others for instruction, guidance or direction.

Specific responsibility for functional and technical relationship with external and internal, strategic partners related to CareSearch Reward$ program and consumer decision support capabilities within the web portal experience across a variety of clients.

CareSearch Reward$ is a new decision support incentive solution targeted at motivating participating members to make optimal choices when purchasing care for a discrete set of 'shoppable' care paths / services. UMR has developed this program to meet market demands for incentive solutions that drive consumer behavior patterns and better (more cost efficient, higher quality) care purchasing choices. Candidates for this position will be closely involved in the set-up, implementation, configuration, reporting, analysis and data mining activities required to execute on this program for key accounts and national accounts customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Business Requirements and Client specific requirements analysis

  • Digital Product and Project management

  • Consultant contact related to understanding, building and documenting strategic position on CareSearch Reward$ program and decision support tools

  • Market analysis, creation and oversight of program design requirements supported by a strong understanding of the consumer experience (current and desired state)

  • Claims analysis for the CareSearch Reward$ program to determine qualifying members

  • Creation and management of milestone plans for all assigned projects

  • Monitoring performance against established standards for strategic partners

  • Issues management and problem solving related to existing functionality within the current program as well as supporting systems and data structures like claims, reporting, tool, etc.

  • Member reporting and analysis

  • Assistance with strategic client consultation, communication and planning

  • QA and UAT on development supporting CSR$ and associated decision support solutions

  • Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise

  • Investigates non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others

  • Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines

  • Provides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • 1 years of Digital product experience

  • 3 years Product Research / Analysis, Business Analysis or Project Management experience within a matrix organization

  • Communication (written, oral and online)

  • Problem solving

  • Data Analytics

  • Ability to create conclusions based on data provided

  • Root cause analysis and solution

  • Attention to detail and commitment to high quality, on time deliverables

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize deliverables

  • Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in analytical reporting and analysis - related to web and claims utilization

  • Healthcare Experience

  • Experience with MS Project, MS Visio

The Digital Product Manager works closely with leadership from Optum's experience design, information technology, marketing, operations, and business teams to deliver digital applications that ensure an exceptional online experience for Optum consumers. * Lead the development of new, as well as drive and enhance existing capabilities for digital products and experiences, from inception to launch * Act as a mediator between the consumers/patients/members, business leaders and the technical teams - communicating consumer needs and translating those needs into new product features for the team to design. * Partner with the Behavioral Health pillar to define/design industry leading consumer-facing digital solutions, and ensure alignment with business and product plans (e.g., capital/funding commitments, revenue commitments, capabilities, functional impacts, cross functional roles) * Lead efforts to fulfill defined digital product solutions, ensuring solutions follow the digital vision and strategy of Optum's omni-channel experience. Primary Responsibilities: * Develop a coherent online product strategy spanning a wide variety of user experiences. Work with other organizational leaders to develop and communicate a complete online product, design, content, and user experience strategy and roadmaps in support of strategic business initiatives. * Manage total performance of Optum's online products to meet critical business metrics, including traffic, user satisfaction, consumer engagement, and financial results. * Collaborate with applicable business partners and stakeholders (including Optum's lines of business as well as Marketing, Sales, Shared Services, and Operations) to obtain appropriate market information/data and define consumer and business needs * Work closely with cross-organizational stakeholders, and has occasional interaction with executive leadership. Typically takes direction on strategic priorities * Develop a rigorous approach to prioritizing online product needs based on user research, marketing insights, competitive intelligence, business needs, and trends in online technology and user experience. Drive third-party product evaluation, prototype development and user testing in support of this approach. * Partner with Digital Delivery teams on the creation of requirements and user stories. Provide sales support including participation in customer meetings and product demonstrations as requested Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required. * Experience leading online products, user experience, content, design, or production in large corporate or heath care environments. * Minimum 4 years' experience as a high-performing individual contributor in digital product management or other product management roles. * Experience coordinating priorities and contributions of a network of non-technical Web content and project stakeholders from across a large, diverse organization. * Extensive practical experience and sound theoretical understanding of relevant professional disciplines, including Product Management, Web design, Web authoring and publishing, information architecture, Web content strategy, usability and accessibility, user experience design. * Fluency in Web technology, including front-end technology, back-end technology, social media, and mobile applications. * Experience with Agile software development processes.
