U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Product Owner to support the development, expansion, and utilization of Shared Access. Shared Access enables account owners to delegate privileges to a third party (an employee, accountant or family member), closing key competitive gaps. This project delivered inquiry and transactions access for Wealth, Business and Consumers (inquiry only).
The Shared Access Product Owner will collaborate with external and internal stakeholders (e.g., U.S. Bank business leaders including Branch Leaders, Omnichannel Experience, Delivery, Risk, Product and Channel managers) to identify, refine, and document detailed "best in class" business requirements for the expansion Shared Access. The Shared Access Product Owner will direct an agile team driving business outcomes needed. The Shared Access Product Owner is expected to balance multiple agendas, be a strong communicator, ensure a timely delivery of key deliverables, and represent the interests of stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of agile, experience as a business/system analyst, and branch banking experience.
Duties to include but not limited to the following:
Manage design, development, implementation and enhancement of new or existing products supporting the organization and business line objectives.
Lead the strategic product and market perspectives, evaluating long term effects and anticipated changes.
Review risk data related to product and ensure risks are effectively monitored and managed.
Ensure product meets state and federal regulatory requirements and coordinate legal review of all supporting collateral materials and documentation.
Elicitation across multiple business areas and documentation of detailed business needs, features and functional requirements.
Interview users to identify and analyze needs; may develop project plans and provides input to recommendations for request and/or problem resolution
Lead the Agile delivery team, understanding and providing direction for the product
Lead the development and maintenance of detailed knowledge of the business's current technology and infrastructure from a functional perspective and can serve as a consultant to others on platform
May participate in testing, training, demonstrations, and implementation of application
Lead technical staff to investigate, analyze, and resolve application problems related to system functions
Ability to prioritize a workload and adapt in an environment with shifting priorities
Ability to articulate concepts in process flows and diagrams

Understanding or experience with system development life cycle and agile project methodologies
Use of Agile tools like TFS and VersionOne
Banking experience preferred. Related industry experience considered. Knowledge of banking and monetary transactions processing (internal and external money movement) and fraud controls is a plus.
Strong program/project management and organizational skills
Technical skills and experience in large, multi-channel technology projects
