At AstraZeneca (AZ) we turn ideas into life changing medicines. Working here means being entrepreneurial, thinking big and working together to make the impossible a reality. We're focused on the potential of science to address the unmet needs of patients around the world. We commit to those areas where we think we can really change the course of medicine and bring big new ideas to life.
Digital technology is rapidly changing the healthcare industry and transforming expectations of patients, care givers and healthcare professionals. AZ is meeting this challenge by continually evolving our digital capabilities, partnerships and platforms. Within the Commercial Digital Team, we focus on product/disease area strategy, experience design and development of innovative customer experiences. The common thread in everything we do is to create experiences for brands that engage their users and delight them in the process.
As our business develops at pace, we are looking for a Digital Product Owner (DPO) to help lead our thinking on our digital products, shaping our digital roadmap and delivering multi-channel content experiences across a range of technologies (web, app etc), using the agile methodology. The DPO acts a linchpin between the product-creation teams (including digital, analytics and insights, operations, IT) and the business. They are the key decision maker who guides the product roadmap.
The DPO seamlessly transition from discussing business results with senior executives, to driving the technical "art of the possible" with the front-line development team, to problem-solving product strategy with marketing leadership, to working with end users to validate new feature concepts through prototypes and testing. They must evaluate options from multiple viewpoints and know how to speak the language of various parts of the business to be able to influence people and guide good decision making.

Strong problem-solving skills to enable the speed and adaptability needed to be successful as a DPO
Solid experience in working with digital products and able to demonstrate knowledge of the product lifecycle
