Description This role will represent BASF by leading the development and deployment of digital solutions for the region, He/she will be responsible for ensuring that these digital solutions support and enable defined user experiences by thoroughly understanding customer needs and business requirements as defined by each business unit. Key capabilities include effective coordination, prioritization and consensus building across multiple business stakeholders and IT, project management, and experience with agile, Lean UX methodology.

System of engagement implementation is an enabler for APN businesses to win the market by effectively connecting channel distributors, retailers, end users and internal customer facing teams and is a critical component of the BASF APN strategy. As a Regional Digital Product Manager, you will be accountable for collaborating with third-party strategic partner(s), AP Digital strategy and internal IT team in this implementation. You will need to manage expectations, identify synergies, and creatively problem solve across the region where multiple independent solutions exist, ensuring alignment between stakeholders as transition to the new platform occurs.

You will lead new system implementation, measure acceptance, and manage system retirement as appropriate without interrupting the effectiveness of daily operations. This position provides collaboration opportunities across BASF Crop Protection North America (APN), Global BASF Crop Protection (AP), BASF Global Information Services (GS) and third-party providers.

The Services Portfolio team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the architecture and development of the NetApp Consulting Service offers. Consulting Services are part of the Professional Service suite of service offers that focus on understanding customer's business objectives, technology challenges, corporate culture and develop a technology solution to drive the customer's desired outcome. This position will define outcomes, develop a journey map and enable salesforce. This is a challenging position with the opportunity to work collaboratively with the Services Product Management team and key business leaders both within and outside of NetApp. * The preferred location for this opportunity is Research Triangle Park (RTP) NC. However it can be located anywhere in the US. * Job Requirements As a Service Product Manager, you are part of a dynamic team that defines and manages the Continuum-of-Care for our customers, partners and internal sales teams. The team is tasked to: * Transform NetApp Services into an outcome-based portfolio * Help change the way services are sold by driving a service-led selling experience. * Partner with sales, partners, marketing and operations to ensure service solutions are simple and easy to transact. * Measure profitability and drive enhancements to improve margins. * Establish an architectural approach to service develop. * Develop business plans, define market positioning, evolve pricing strategies, and penetration targets. * Identify local, regional and global marketing opportunities to drive awareness of NetApp solutions. * Track business and operational metrics and key performance indicators. * Provide on-going management of the product marketing programs, contracts and agreements. * Consulting Service Product Management experience within a technology company (including market research, competitive analysis, segmentation, offer development, and positioning, pricing, and forecasting). * Strategic leader who can bridge technology and business strategy to develop compelling plans for new product * Be a change catalyst for the organization by thinking differently. * Exposure to software development, datacenter operations, Public Cloud, Private and hybrid cloud applications. * Strong understanding of consumption/subscription based models and underlying financials. * Executive level presentation skills are required for internal and external stakeholders. * Superior writing, listening, and verbal communication skills. * A team player who can collaborate and build consensus with a diverse set of cross functional stakeholders. Education * A minimum of 12 years of experience is required, and preferably 15+ years. * A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent combination of related education/training/certifications and applicable years of experience is required. * Demonstrated ability to have successfully delivered multiple, complex professional services solutions at a senior, strategic level.
