Role Summary:

Asset and fleet management

is foundational to the Aviation business. Increasing and improving the digital

capabilities in this space is critical to the business in order to manage a

growing installed base, increase operational efficiency for support teams and

services portfolio, and create new business opportunities for the business.

Essential Responsibilities:

The role of Digital Product Leader will be responsible for the functional product management of our digital product we use to monitor the commercial fleet of ~40,000 engines . This Digital Product Leader role includes continued refinement of the product vision, scope and roadmap, working with stakeholders & user community as well as cross-functionally across products and organizations, and leading product development activities with the digital team.

Additionally, as the Sr Project Management Manager, key responsibilities will include:

Continued feature roadmap and strategy development for the Diagnostics Tools product

Maintain a 3-year vision, roadmap and strategy for the diagnostics tools

Work in close collaboration with the technical product owner

Actively support the digital development team sprint & release planning, backlog grooming, and big room planning rhythms as well as acceptance testing and any daily questions

Present program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leaders

Provide direct or indirect leadership for a horizontal product, manage expectations and communicate status across the matrix

Participate in discussions about the future of the product requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions and digital products

Gather requirements from the regional focal community, all divisions and digital products, partnering with other product owners to deliver business solutions and outcomes

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations Leadership and/or digital product management

Desired Characteristics:

Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate and influence across the matrix

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

Demonstrated ability to create strategic plans and execute on them

Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects

Understanding of current digital technologies and their application

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

Established project / product management skills
