Directs and executes enterprise and customer campaigns that represent the value that the broader organization delivers, as opposed to a specific product, line of business, or region. Responsible for the overall corporate brand and related events at the enterprise level and coordinating with customer marketers in support of the broader business. Stewards of the enterprise brand, messaging and architecture, conceiving and delivering advertising, campaigns, industry events, branding for non-customer stakeholders (IR). Develops customer specific messaging; curates and deploys content; measures campaigns that leverage relevant content from across the business; maintains a deep understanding of customers, the evolution of personas, and specific market characteristics; champions the customer and sharing knowledge across the organization; creates enterprise-wide marketing plans for specific customers; identifies relevant offerings/platforms; communicates value propositions and messaging; assists with organization plans; and learning from KPIs/customer behavior.
Develops and implements the marketing strategy, revenue attainment and expense management for related offerings across Information & Analytics and/or Consulting & Services within a large market, part of a large region or business line.
Essential Job Functions:
Determines the key customer needs and leads the design of the offering(s) and components (data, products and services).
Develops the commercial strategy (including alliances, promotion, etc.) to grow this business area profitably and competitively.
Directs appropriate client research and input necessary to develop successful offerings strategy.
Develops and leads implementation of the defined strategy, including leading development specifications.
Leads cross-functional team to implement strategy, including service lines, production, legal, supplier management.
Actively supports local office planning and implementation: understands local environment and customer needs, adapts core offerings to this, prepares local organization to support and takes these offerings to market (targets, promotional plan and materials, training, etc.).
Ensures pricing and positioning effectively supports the offerings and are aligned with other offerings.
Reports on status of revenues, customers and developments to management team.
Conducts competitive surveillance and factors into strategy.
Significantly contributes to thought leadership in area of responsibility.
Builds, develops and provides leadership within a marketing team.
Minimum Required Education & Experience:
Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 7 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Knowledge:Requires broad management knowledge to lead teams, and well as the ability to influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, procedures, and goals.
Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
Additional Experience: Nine (9) years experience with demonstrated success in marketing strategy, new product introductions and market expansion
Skills & Abilities:
Requires an in-depth knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry.
Well developed people management, team leadership and relationship building skills.
Proven experience successfully operating in a matrix environment
