Digital Press Operator

Local marketing services and printing firm seeks digital press operator. The Digital Press operator is responsible for completing all digital press work (Xerox and Cannon) in compliance with job specifications and quality standards.

This person must schedule workloads to meet customer time requirements. In addition, he/she will perform daily and weekly maintenance on all digital equipment to ensure optimum output. This person is vital to the overall customer service provided and will work closely with other team members.

Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED with experience or vocational/technical certification. • Strong interpersonal skills • Good mathematical skills • Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance. • Reliable attendance, punctuality and attention to workstation. • Meet or exceed minimum test results as specified by hiring manager. Person will have to be flexible with scheduling with the possibility of working 2nd shift for 8-12 weeks a year. Digital room experience a plus Primary Responsibilities: • Operations of Equipment - Black & White Cannon and Color Xerox Digital Presses o Comply with all OSHA safety requirements o Clean and maintain equipment following daily and weekly schedules • Assist Bindery, Wide Format Operation and other areas of the facility if needed
