Digital Prepress Technician In Las Vegas, NV

Color Reflections is seeking an individual with a passion for printing and graphic arts to join our Digital Team as a full-time Prepress Technician. Responsibilities include pre-flight and imposing files for offset and large format production, generating digital proofs, analyzing graphic specification sheets, interacting with sales and project managers for proofing and file issue resolution, and extending contribution of knowledge in the department. Two years of commercial printing prepress experience is preferred, but candidates with closely related qualifications will be trained for the position.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

● Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Mac OS, Windows, and Microsoft Office.

● Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

● Able to show expertise with bleed/live/trim dimensions, color conversions or corrections, file exporting options and any other skills required for successful print production.

● Prepare and send files electronically via email, FTP, or file delivery service.

● Electronically review all supplied files and troubleshoot problems, making technical corrections as necessary.

● Provide updates on the status of work orders.

● Maintain a positive attitude when working with colleagues, associates, and clients. Be solutions-oriented and be supportive in finding solutions to unexpected challenges.
