Digital Merchandising Senior Analyst
Total Wine & More is looking for a Digital Merchandising Senior Analyst, with a background in ecommerce, to join the Digital department in Bethesda, MD. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Digital Business Operations, you will serve as the merchandising strategy lead for TotalWine.com's personalized product recommendation tool, Rich Relevance, but will also help out in other areas of digital merchandising including Site Search and product content curation. You will focus on increasing sales and margin growth through the management of TotalWine.com's product recommendation strategies and identifying and working towards new opportunities to improve the personalized shopping experience.
Test and optimize product recommendation strategies and placements to improve the relevancy of products, increase sales and enhance the onsite personalized shopping experience
Create advanced merchandising rules to cross-sell, upsell and encourage new product discovery
Communicate the recommendation strategy and performance to key stakeholders and leaders
Partner with product owners on the personalization and recommendation roadmap
Develop reports and dashboards to monitor and action against essential performance measurements
Collaborate on the development of new TotalWine.com unique recommendation strategies
Identify opportunities to support new product attributes and data to increase Return on investment
Assist with other areas of digital merchandising such as site search and product content curation on an as-needed basis
You will come with
Bachelor's degree, preferably in mathematics, statistics or business administration
5 years in ecommerce or online merchandising
2 + years' experience in an analytical and data driven role
Experience with product recommendations engines
Experience with ecommerce testing and optimization
Experience communicating and collaborating with internal partners
Experience working with Rich Relevance product recommendation engine helpful
