This position is responsible for driving demand and channel growth through online channel partner platforms by developing and implementing of a profitable, customer focused digital merchandising strategy. This individual is driven by the data to constantly improve site productivity and maximize product engagement, conversion and sales per order. As a partner to their respective sales account managers, this role will work cross-functionally with other areas of the business (Marketing/IT/Operations/Sales) to create and optimize customer touch points and engagements to support our key sales objectives for a specific group of online channel accounts while communicating our key product messaging and broadening awareness of the Ricoh brand.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively work with sales and marketing to develop, implement and execute successful digital merchandising strategies that ultimately support revenue generation in a specific group of online distributors and/or resellers.
Develop and manage a yearly, fully integrated, digital merchandising account plan, product roadmap that work to achieve the established sales targets for assigned accounts.
Develop and manage multi-channel marketing calendars and promotional events in partnership with Channel Sales Mgrs that are defined on executed on a quarterly basis.
Work with Channel Sales Managers to complete Channel Partner Marketing planning documents (e.g. Partner Profile) and help manage and load items in internal and partner systems/portals including Ricoh product information, online pricing updates, showcase pages, promotions/SPIFFs, and other areas as required.
Managing large scale product and services launches, including tracking tasks and dependencies across multiple teams; content planning, development and publication; and related launch activities.
Ensure up-to-date content and pricing is published and actively available to partner sites via appropriate CMS systems (ie. CNET, Salisfy, etc.).
Manage and grow monetization and selling opportunities for Ricoh products through partners' platforms and investments including working with channel partners to create content rich experiences, identifying innovative ways to connect with buying audiences, reviewing and maximizing partnership models, model and pilot new business models and online programs with partners.
Partner with product marketing and analytics teams to synthesize complex web and platform data, analyzing engagement patterns, product performance and voice of customer data to learn and form actionable insights to accelerate growth.
Communicate with partner and vendor communities to outline digital roadmap and help identify unique buyer marketing opportunities across the digital portfolio.
Work with Channel Sales Manager, and other internal Ricoh training resources to support the development and implementation of training materials and programs for partner Sales associates.
Build and participate in quarterly account reviews with internal and external partners including evaluating the financial aspects of marketing initiatives, such as budgets, expenditures, and return-on-investment.
Negotiate digital contracts and agreements to maximize Ricoh's interest, working closely with marketing and sales teams to ensuring visibility and alignment of various digital marketing investments and efforts.
Be abreast on partner's platform capabilities and expansion plans to determine new partnership opportunities.
Enforces brand guidelines, ensuring marketing communications meet company brand and legal requirements. Obtains approval and sign off of campaigns by legal.
Engages, and shares knowledge and skills, with the marketing team to provide continued awareness of marketing best practices and methodology to ensure that Ricoh is always bench-marking against world class standards.
Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, economics or similar quantitative fields.
5+ years demonstrable experience in e-commerce and/or digital merchandising field.
3+ years B2B direct marketing experience.
Experience working with Channel Partners, VARs (e.g. CDW), and online resellers/retailers (e.g. Amazon).
Experience with business development and/or online product management, created innovative digital products that maximized sales or customer satisfaction.
Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting in a digital marketplace.
Experience with A/B testing, survey platforms and CMS tools.
XML, HTML, CMS experience preferred.
Ability to utilize standard software applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Previous experience with online platforms like CNET, Salsify, Vendor Central, A+, Amazon for Business highly desirable.
