Required Skills and Experience:
4-6 total years in an agency environment, including at least 3 years in the digital space
Thorough understanding of programmatic media
Knowledge of all aspects of the digital landscape including SEO, SEM, Mobile, Programmatic Display, paid Social, and more
Digital end-to-end process management experience is REQUIRED
Ideal experience background: 3/4 online, 1/4 offline
Experience with media budgets in the $10MM total spend range
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multi-task: experience working on multiple clients simultaneously
Understanding of media concepts and terms
Experience in negotiating and buying site-direct digital display
Advanced Excel skills; intermediate PowerPoint and Word skills
Ability to write clearly and succinctly; ability to persuade via the written word
Able to articulate a point of view clearly and with confidence on appropriate subjects
Hands on experience with running MRI, Media Metrix, Kantar and Telmar (or similarly functional tools)

We are seeking a Digital Media Director to work for us in an exciting role as a direct, full-time employee of ours while working at our client. Our client, a premier digital marketing services agency, has the right to hire the selected candidate after he or she has worked as a consultant for six months.
As a Digital Media Director, you will execute the day to day responsibilities of responding to client requests and building digital media recommendations that are in line with the budget and aligns with established media objectives. You will work alongside with the Account Management and Strategy teams and are responsible for managing all aspects of the media plans and campaigns.
This includes day-to-day operations, client deliverables, relationship management, and issue resolution. Specifically, you will:
Lead the creation of integrated media-marketing strategies and plans and create materials for presenting to clients.
Work directly with in-house programmatic and analytics team
Manage day-to-day media plan changes: ownership of media plan flowcharts, campaign changes, billing and reporting
Assemble and evaluate marketing data to determine clients media needs
Propose elements of media strategy using facts and data to support: targeting, geography, scheduling, communications goals, integration with other marketing programs
Analyze media mix alternatives to recommend how to best allocate funds
Gather and assist in analyzing research to develop these strategies
Develop strategically sound media recommendations with supporting rationale
Manage and instruct Media Assistant(s) in executing their assigned tasks
Work with buying teams, traffic, billings, analytics, ad serving, finance and outside agency partners in managing the buying process.
Set up campaigns via multiple ad servers in display, video and mobile
Analyze campaigns and recommend tactical changes to improve results
Manage/create buy stewardship reports for clients
Manage and own the billing and reconciliation process so that errors are minimized/eliminated.
Write POVs (Point of View reports) for specific media opportunities
