Salary is restricted to above range and will not exceed the maximum of the range. Salary offers are non negotiable and offers are determined and are based upon related work experience submitted on resume.

Monitors the daily operations of the digital media and design lab and radio and sound production studios, insuring quality programming and supporting the educational opportunities for students. Reports directly to the Dean of Education, Arts, Computer Science, and Online Learning.
This position is contingent upon Perkins funding sources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Use resources within WXLV Media & Design Center, including digital media lab, sound production studio, and internet broadcast radio lab, to demonstrate the principles of digital media production to CTE students consistent with industry standard production assets.
Provide professional guidance to CTE students using the equipment, software, and other learning materials in the WXLV Media & Design Center for coursework, work-based learning experiences, internships, work study, etc.
Assist students in understanding course content by using relevant resources in the WXLV Media & Design Center and providing "hands-on" instruction.
Orient and demonstrate to students how to use the equipment and software programs required for coursework.
Train, schedule, and supervise CTE students in media production and support student participation and learning in digital media production and programming.
Provide professional guidance to CTE students with the setup, streaming and recording of events and radio shows in the WXLV Media & Design Center.
Develop and produce live and pre-recorded studio and live remote broadcasts with CTE students and for student
Lead 3-5 CTE student crew for multi-camera live stream of events, including athletics.
Set a positive, professional example for production work and on-air programming and
Coordinate WXLV internship and work study programs, including working directly with CTE students and CTE Internship Coordinator to find opportunities for work-based learning experiences.
Serve as instructional and technical assistant to production-related and technology-heavy courses within CTE programs.
Serves as co-advisor for Art Club and Film Club, which meet in WXLV Media & Design Center.
Provide tours to various community members and organizations that may be willing to partner and provide experiences for CTE students.
Provide input on equipment purchases under Perkins grant WXLV Media & Design Center.
Install, maintain and repair equipment, as needed.
Serve as a critical team player with college faculty, and college administration making decisions regarding projects and events, and incorporating CTE student involvement where possible.
Maintain a high level of customer service and quality while modeling appropriate professional
Assure the availability of supplies and equipment required for the successful implementation of college
Oversee the daily operational procedures of the WXLV Media & Design Center related to curriculum
Maintain daily logs for all activities performed and develop reports on activities and related information as required by the Perkins
Provide information for internal and external
Performs other Perkins-related duties as
Develops and maintains an operational manual.
Performs other duties as assigned by the vice president for academic services and student support.
Required Qualifications:
Education
Associate's degree in media production or related field from an accredited institution.
Foreign degrees - must provide a US equivalency report of your degree credentials with your transcript, if not, your resume will not be accepted.
Certifications
Work Experience:
Computer literacy.
Knowledge of digital media hardware and software.
Ability to communicate clearly and work with students of diverse academic skills and cultural backgrounds.
Ability to work flexible hours as necessary.
Experience in operating communications equipment and computer equipment required.
