Smiths Agency is seeking a motivated Digital Media Account Manager to join our fast-growing Channel & Analytics team. This role will be an important addition to our team and is responsible for both client communication & strategy to deliver on client goals and KPIs, as well as managing Channel team deliverables. The Digital Media Account Manager must have a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including paid and organic social, paid search, programmatic, and video, and can analyze data while making strategic recommendations to our clients.

The Digital Media Account Manager will play a critical role in managing client media deliverables from kickoff to execution to reporting. You serve as the primary contact on day-to-day management for all projects coming into the Channel Team and will serve as the voice of the Channel & Analytics team on weekly internal and external client calls. The Digital Media Account Manager will manage 3-5 clients at a time while ensuring work is completed on time and within scope.

As the Digital Media Account Manager, you understand the client's business, build positive client and agency relationships, and think strategically across omni-channel campaigns. You also have a strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and media tactics, with previous experience in managing or overseeing digital marketing platforms and providing recommendations and analysis of campaign performance. You excel at project management, ensuring strong integration of campaign components, consistency across elements and flawless execution against campaign timelines. The role will work with broader account teams and represent the Channel & Analytics teams for each of their client responsibilities.

Reports to: Media Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees channel deliverables & strategy on assigned accounts

  • Owns client communication on media brief processes and project initiation to gain a strong understanding of client objectives, category dynamics and target audiences

  • Manages project workflow within the department to deliver on client deliverables and timelines

  • Understands media workflow and project planning for client deliverables including channel plan, vendor RFP, search & social account builds, campaign launches & reporting

  • Manages Channel project timelines, media budgets and team workflow processes

  • Facilitates weekly media team client meetings to review deliverables, priorities and timelines

  • Oversees resource planning and owns media team updates in the agency project management tool

  • Works closely with client service and creative teams to optimize process for asset handoff, trafficking and QA

  • Works closely with Channel and Analytics VP to identify process improvements and optimize over time

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communication or equivalent industry experience

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated strength in media planning and buying (Agency experience preferred)

  • 1-2 years of experience in account management

  • Ability to connect workflows across multiple clients with multi-channel campaigns

  • Ability to report on and analyze results of an omni-channel campaign

  • High-level knowledge of Google Analytics and other insights or reporting platforms

  • Knowledgeable of latest trends and digital media best practices

  • Experience with project management tools and working with cross-functional teams

  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills

  • Self-starter with a bias for action

  • Ability to influence, coordinate and motivate teams in a high pace environment

  • Experience scoping projects and planning timelines

  • Strong organizational skills
