Are you a data-driven Digital Marketing Strategist with a passion for crafting compelling narratives? Do you thrive in a results-oriented environment, developing innovative strategies to amplify brand voice, promote subject matter expertise (SME), and secure media attention? We're seeking a highly motivated and strategic Digital Marketing Strategist to join our Marcom team in Sacramento, CA. In this role, you'll be responsible for shaping our digital presence and fostering strong relationships with key media outlets. This is a not a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy focused on brand awareness and SME thought leadership cultivation.

  • Leverage data analytics (website traffic, social media engagement) to measure campaign performance and optimize strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Cultivate strong media relations, proactively pitching compelling stories to journalists and influencers to secure positive press coverage and media placements.

  • Integrate SEO best practices to ensure content optimizes search engine visibility and drives organic traffic.

  • Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, constantly seeking new opportunities to elevate our brand and engage target audiences.

  • Collaborate with others to craft high-quality content across various formats, including blog posts, website copy, engaging social media campaigns, email campaigns, and thought leadership pieces.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy development and execution.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing digital campaigns across various channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email).

  • Exceptional content creation skills with a focus on crafting informative and engaging content that resonates with B2B audiences.

  • Understanding of PR principles and experience pitching stories to traditional and online media outlets.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics and social media analytics platforms.

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot or Marketo.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.

  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of AEC industry and a genuine interest in our brand.

  • Portfolio showcasing successful digital marketing campaigns you've developed.

Salary range:

$70,000-$85,000
