This position is a B2B digital marketing specialist role, assisting in all areas of digital marketing. This position will be responsible for a wide-scope of digital marketing activities including, but not limited to marketing automation, website content development and implementation, search engine optimization, digital advertising and paid search, marketing automation effectiveness, social media, online lead generation, and more.

Reporting to and working collaboratively with the Digital Marketing Manager, this person will utilize their exceptional digital marketing experience to drive and execute on all aspects of a digital marketing program, by measuring and analyzing, optimizing, and implementing enhancements to our digital program to drive digital impressions, website traffic, lead generation, and ultimately, sales.

Responsibilities Include:

Marketing Automation and Operations

  • Build and execute campaigns, programs, and emails in Marketing Automation Platform, Marketo.

  • Drive lead generation activities including overseeing management and reporting of various lead sources

  • Utilize Marketo and Salesforce.com to manage current customer contacts, upload sourced lists, capture/generate new leads, and grow the marketable database, while improving segmentation and targeting of audiences

  • Own, maintain, and manage lead/contact record activities including lead cleanup, de-duplication, unread lead reporting, lead inbox support/assignment, and data normalization, as well as improving lead follow up processes with the sales team

  • Build engaging, responsive HTML email and landing page templates

  • Manage processes for high email deliverability and overall performance

  • Improve and implement marketing attribution strategy and tactics

Website and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Provide SEO expertise for keyword research, reporting, backlink campaigns, conversion goals, on-page site optimization, social media, local search, image and video optimization, digital asset optimization, and mobile search for clients of multiple industries

  • Develop web content that serves the user, is aligned with corporate objectives, and is optimized for search

  • Review and analyze website content and analytics for areas that need to be improved or revised and make changes to increase performance

  • Manage performance reporting in Google Analytics, Marketo, and other reporting channels

  • Build and maintain partnerships with third party search and web agencies to implement SEO strategies to increase organic search traffic

  • Monitor online campaigns regularly and make recommendations on goals to improve key performance metrics and drive lead generation and revenue

Digital Advertising and Paid Search

  • Create, manage, and optimize campaigns on Google Ads, Adroll ad retargeting, LinkedIn, Social Media, and other digital ad platforms.

  • Conduct keyword research; help formulate and post Google Ads; establish, monitor and update bids per keyword

  • Understand audience targeting techniques across digital platforms to improve targeting effectiveness of all paid media channels

Qualifications:

  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and accountability for project deadlines

  • Desire to grow in their marketing and leadership skillsets

  • Must be a fast-learner, able to understand complex environments and projects, attention to detail and maintain an organized workflow

  • Excellent planning, time management and decision-making skills with the ability to self-manage numerous projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrated digital skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment

  • Creativity and experience bringing new programs and ideas to fruition

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and ability to foster / maintain relationships across multiple businesses and organizations

  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills

  • Ability to successfully work and engage with remote teams and travel when required

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2+ years of Marketo experience. Marketo Certified Expert preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, B2B preferred
  • 2+ years overall knowledge of digital space including demand generation, ad retargeting, email marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) / Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and related analytics and engagement metrics and reporting techniques
  • 2+ years proven track-record of increasing traffic, improving brand and site visibility within major search engines for important keywords, increasing site authority through trusted and natural link building and surpassing conversion goals
  • 2+ years proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Ads

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in building email and landing pages in HTML preferred

  • Experience with a CMS (WordPress) preferred

  • Knowledge of Social Media Marketing (Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook preferred)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience marketing for service industry a plus

  • Experience with Conductor Searchlight a plus

  • Experience with a CRM (Salesforce.com) a plus
