Responsible for the execution, maintenance and growth of Regent Seven Seas Cruises' social media and blog initiatives including content curation/creation and on board real-time social engagement. Position is also responsible for paid social media planning, management and execution, as well as testing and optimization across all initiatives.
Engage and interact with the social community across all platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) to develop and grow social media audiences and overall guest engagement.
Curate and create compelling content for social media channels and blog, collaborating with on board teams (utilizing onboard and guest content interviewing officers and crew/past guests), PR and Marketing.
Plan and manage social media and blog calendars, tracking and optimizing performance. Manage and schedule Executive Twitter Chats and track performance.
Develop standards and best practices for the creation, distribution, maintenance, retrieval and repurposing of content, collaborating with Marketing team members to ensure that all digital content aligns with other strategic messaging and maintains a consistent voice and tone.
Manage and execute paid social media plan to drive leads and bookings. Recommend creative and copy optimization based on data and findings.
Understanding of custom audiences, lookalikes and modeling and application in the social space to optimize performance.
Implement and report on A/B testing plans. Recommend creative and copy optimization based on data and findings.
Develop and run all social media reports including campaign recaps. Analyze campaign performance, providing recommendations for optimization. Work with Marketing Analytics team to provide social media data for consolidated business reports.
Monitor inquiries and questions that come in through social media channels.
Manage current social media tools and resources: Chute, HootSuite, Social Studio, Bitly.
Tool management includes: Evaluation and tool assessment, contracts and renewals, vendor relationship, maintenance and use.
Track, research and report on current social media trends, tools and competitive activity.
Build tracking codes with Campaign Naming Convention tool and ensure all codes are accurately flowing into Domo reporting platform.
Manage pixel placement by working with internal teams to place and QA new pixels when necessary.
Work closely with the search team in the development and enhancement of unique content strategies.
Collaborate on influencer program development with Director of Digital Marketing and Director of Guest Engagement, including annual goals and tactics.
Monitor travel agency social participation and present opportunities for corporate participation and co-op programs.
Manage YouTube strategy, uploads, inventory and metrics.
Manage budget, vendors and other resources related to digital marketing and social media.
Perform other Digital Marketing duties in the 3rd/party paid advertising space as assigned.
Perform other job related functions as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years of digital marketing and media buying experience with specific experience in the social media space/role including strong writing/content development and reporting/analytical skills.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Advanced knowledge of, experience with and passion for social media with demonstrated ability and understanding of media buying, planning and execution.
Understanding of influencer marketing and role of social media influencers as an effective marketing tool.
Understanding of brand marketing.
Very strong attention to detail.
Understanding of creative optimization and A/B testing.
Excellent written skills with storytelling ability.
Excellent communications skills to effectively interact with management, cross-functionally and with Digital Marketing vendors.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment to accomplish goals and complete projects within deadline.
