Business context of the role:
Commercially JDE is divided into two business units, Retail and Professional. The professional business unit is aligned with 'on the go' consumption of our brands including customer such as offices, hotel groups, pubs and bars and hospitals.
The professional business unit makes up about 25% of the UK&I business and this new position sits within the marketing team providing support to our commercial functions across the digital space.
About the role:
The local Digital Marketing Specialist is accountable for delivering the Professional customer online experience that is aligned with current and future industry standards, with the goal of generating a high quantity of quality inbound leads to the sales department.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Define and deliver the target number of online leads for the local Professional division through effective management of all online marketing activities.
Work closely with the Segment Marketing team to develop and deliver all online marketing material, such as customer newsletters and website content.
Owner of all content and also existing and new functionality that will drive conversion on our local online platforms
Manage, report and optimize search-engine rankings to increase organic traffic through Google to our platforms (SEO)
Optimize social media channels such as LinkedIn
Work closely with Sales to optimize search & content on customer websites
Manage the Content Management System to ensure up-to-date content on our websites with consistent brand experience.
Use web analytics to provide key insights to the local Marketing team
Work closely with Global Digital team to further drive digital roadmap within the Professional division
Educates and inspires the local Marketing teams on digital best practice and latest digital trends
University degree, preferably in a digital subject
2+ years' experience in digital or e-commerce or online lead generation
Proven success in Search Engine Marketing activities (SEO / paid advertising)
Confidence with web analytic tools (eg Google Analytics)
Experience of running Content Management System
Excellent numerate, analytical and written communication skills
Fluency in English
