What You Will Do

  • Report to the CEO and collaborate across internal business and technical teams
  • Drive audience engagement; connect with our customers, prospects, and stakeholders
  • Plan, initiate, and oversee multi-channel digital campaigns
  • Deliver quantitative assessments; track and report on marketing metrics
  • Research and implement new marketing trends and best practices
  • Manage, improve, and maintain the company website with the goal to drive traffic
  • Implement and coordinate SEO strategies
  • Generate engaging content for our user community of data scientists and developers
  • Develop and implement innovative go-to-market strategies
  • Coordinate event participation to maximize customer impact
  • Contribute to the positive team culture at Inpher

Requirements

What You Have Done

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in related field; Masters degree is a plus
  • 2-4 years experience in marketing and digital campaigns for enterprise software
  • General knowledge and interest in data science and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML)
  • Articulate communicator with referenceable written marketing samples
  • Skilled at translating deep technical product capabilities to a general audience
  • Great collaborator who enjoys working with diverse teams
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and solve problems autonomously
  • Highly organized and committed to meeting deadlines
  • Technical background or software development experience is a plus

Skills

  • Wordpress or equivalent front end web development/design capabilities
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Mailchimp, Hubspot, or similar digital marketing platform(s)
  • Powerpoint expertise; developing templates and new visual content
  • CSS skills are a plus
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Adobe Creative Suite skills are a plus
  • Technical writing skills are a plus

Location

There is currently one opening for this role, and it is based in our New York office, located in the Flatiron/NoMad districts at 36 W 25th St, Ste 300, New York, NY 10010 near the R, W, F, M, and 6 subway stops and is a 10 minute walk to Penn Station. Remote candidates in the Eastern Time Zone will be considered. Candidates interested in this role must have authorization to work in the United States (and only OPT visas will be considered).

Our mission is to connect local shoppers with local businesses who are pillars of their community. <br><br> Our products are used as a discovery tool for people to find new businesses that are highly relevant to the them. With our innovative products and tight collaboration with our newspaper properties, our focus is on improving the local search experience for the user and increasing the visibility of Hearst's brands.</p><p>You will be a key member of a fast-paced digital marketing team that uses a mix of online and offline marketing tactics to drive awareness and conversions for a key strategic initiative within Hearst.</p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li><p>Facebook Campaigns. Work in Facebook Business Manager to manage spending for campaigns that someone else sets up. <br><br> Turn campaigns on and off as needed. Answer questions about campaign performance using Facebook standard tools. Monitor and respond to user comments about ad campaigns.</p></li><li><p>Facebook and Instagram posts. Make posts for our own social accounts, using images and text created by other groups. Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective cross-tagging.</p></li><li><p>Email marketing. Write drafts, get approvals, coordinate with other functions, and then send emails to local businesses and Chambers of Commerce to support &quot;Reader's Choice&quot; contests. <br><br> Find email addresses for targeted local businesses by calling them. Track email results using standard tools on a system like Mailchimp, Sailthru or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.</p></li><li><p>Google search. Use Google Keyword Planner and Forecasting tool to perform on-going Google CPC forecasting and estimates, including search volume. Look up weekly search rankings for key pages.</p></li><li><p>Google Analytics. Answer simple marketing questions by using standard Google Analytics reports.</p></li><li><p>Google Data Studio and Looker. For existing reports, apply necessary changes to keep them current. <br><br> Help other colleagues with basic &quot;how to&quot; questions about existing reports.
