Digital Marketing Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will serve as the lead project manager for digital marketing initiatives and assist with the creation, inception, deployment, and measurement of 360 marketing efforts supporting retail and internal brands. The Digital Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for collecting and analyzing data on digital marketing performance to guide business decisions.

JOB DUTIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Serves as lead project manager for the digital marketing functions.

• Assists with the creation, inception, deployment and measurement of 360 marketing efforts.

• Manage and organize incoming content from both internal and external sources, such as graphics, photos, videos and influencer assets.

• Partners with CRM director, Marketing communications team, Web / SEO providers, and others as needed.

• Diverse, hands-on digital marketing experience is key to success in the role, cannabis experience preferred.

• Assist with administering and maintaining all company owned websites.

• Monitor and report on search engine optimization and ads.

• Develop and analyze digital performance metrics to drive future marketing decisions and optimize lead acquisition and activation strategy.

• Coordinate with team members to ensure web site(s) can adapt quickly and easily in response to continuous changes in content, applications, and priorities.

• Partner with cross functional managers to ensure consistency and alignment with digital strategy for product and retail business units.

• Partner with Compliance team to ensure implementation and adherence to all local and state laws for web-based materials.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years' experience in hands on digital marketing roles

• Experience with ecommerce sites and proven track-record of customer acquisitions and sales

• Diverse, hands-on digital marketing experience is key to success in the role, cannabis experience preferred

• Skills include digital advertising, ecommerce, search ads, marketing communications, web operations, SEO/SEM, reporting and analysis, innovative and entrepreneurial, detail orientated, strong collaborator, highly creative

• Passion for and strong understanding of digital marketing

• Ideal candidate has prior experience managing various digital marketing projects simultaneously

• Experience managing complex project list, priorities and budgets and track record of project management with a focus on driving for results

• Must be able to interact successfully with senior management, field personnel, agency partners and cross functional teams, fostering open, honest and direct communication

• Ability to work under pressure and ability to work under changing priorities
