Position Overview

  • Schedule - Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm. Opportunity to work remotely one day per week. Flexibility to work additional hours may be required to meet company/project needs.

  • Compensation Package-

  • $80,000 to $85,000 / Year*

  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employer pays 85% of employee's premium.

  • Paid sick leave accrual equivalent to 1.33 hours for every 30 hours worked (~11 days per year).

  • Paid vacation starting at three weeks and increasing with tenure.

  • 13 paid holidays, including 2 personal holidays of your choice.

  • The above compensation is a range. Offers are made based on a candidate's experience and the geographical location of this position.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in multifamily property management industry.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and social media and marketing platforms (BBB, Yelp, Google, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).

  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is a plus.

  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.

  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.

  • Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.

  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Your Role

Marketing:

  • Update branded corporate documents, forms, and the operations marketing manual.

  • Ensure all properties are consistent with the APM brand.

  • Assist with coordinating local events and managing marketing and PR initiatives.

  • Produce marketing materials including flyers, proposals, and packages for properties.

  • Manage marketing inventory at properties and create POs for marketing orders.

  • Work with vendors to update content/photos for renovated properties.

  • Create accounts and templates for new properties to order brochures and business cards.

Media Management:

  • Update property concessions and specials on websites.

  • Monitor social platforms (BBB, Yelp, Google, Facebook, etc.) and handle resident complaints.

  • Manage crisis communications and inform Vice President of major events.

  • Respond to property reviews.

Research/Analysis:

  • Research local media contacts and assist with coordinating interviews and press releases.

  • Assist with market surveys for new developments and collect competitor data.

  • Track Google Review scores and escalate to management if necessary.

  • Assist with marketing reports and create reports for properties not tracking marketing data.

Management:

  • Organize a monthly media calendar for property/community engagement and events.

  • Train property teams on marketing.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Present in Investor/Partnership meetings.

  • Assist with coordinating and executing sponsorship opportunities.

  • Update and organize the Marketing folder on T-drive.

  • Assist with obtaining marketing invoices and updating billing information.

  • Provide support at lease-up properties or sites needing additional support.

  • Assist the Vice President as needed.

Business Development:

  • Pursue entrance into new multifamily markets as directed by the President.

  • Create marketing materials to promote unique attributes and project accomplishments.

  • Present services to businesses, property owners, and managers to build relationships.

  • Negotiate management terms and agreements to support APM's growth.
