Job Description Job Description TITLE Digital Marketing Specialist WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE The Digital Marketing Specialist will join Addgene during an exciting time as we build on 20 years of experience to grow our support of the scientific community. You will support and execute marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, drive revenue, and increase market share.

By leveraging your expertise in digital marketing, CRM management, and data analytics, you will contribute significantly to the optimization of our marketing strategies and the effectiveness of our campaigns. Your work will directly impact our ability to reach and engage with our target audiences, ultimately fostering growth and innovation within the scientific community. POSITION REPORTS TO Director of Content DURATION This is a one year temporary full time hire eligible for our amazing benefits package (100% company paid health care, PTO, 403b, lifestyle and professional development stipend) SALARY $62-72K APPROXIMATE START DATE ASAP LOCATION & POLICY ON REMOTE WORK This role is completely flexible to be fully remote, hybrid, or onsite, whatever works best for you Our office is located at 490 Arsenal Way in Watertown, Massachusetts.

Our beautiful office space has free, ample parking with a complimentary shuttle from Harvard Square and is on multiple bus lines, with the cost of public transit covered by Addgene (if onsite at least 4 days/week). You must be a resident in one of the following states: MA, VT, ME, RI, NC, FL, CO and OH. In joining our team as an “Addgenie”, you will work with multidisciplinary internal teams to help fulfill this mission, including scientists, software engineers and product developers, renowned customer support teams, marketing gurus, and business development professionals.

Together, Addgenies create and enhance opportunities for research scientists to deposit their materials, find products and resources easily on our website, and receive unparalleled support in receiving and expertly using our materials in their own experiments. To Succeed in this Role, You Will: Plan, implement, manage, analyze, and optimize paid search engine marketing campaigns, such as Google Ads.

Create and execute marketing campaigns, track their success, and perform necessary adjustments for continuous improvement. Oversee and maintain the HubSpot CRM platform, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness. Clean and maintain existing properties, reports, and workflows within HubSpot as appropriate.

Review annual paid advertising contracts, coordinate ad requirements, and monitor ad performance. Explore new advertising opportunities and manage product listings on life science marketplaces. Analyze performance data from social media and blog content to assess the effectiveness of current strategies.

Develop and implement improvements based on data insights to enhance engagement and reach. Monitor trends and audience behaviors to inform content strategy and optimize performance. Skills and Competencies BA/BS in business, marketing, digital analytics, or a relevant field 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in the life sciences 2 years experience with HubSpot CRM and data analytics Solid knowledge of website analytics tools and Google Ads Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
