GENERAL SUMMARY: # The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting internal and external website development and online marketing.# Web development will include working in multiple content management systems, content publishing, search engine optimization and web analysis. This position will work with marketing, other departments at Edward-Elmhurst Health and digital vendors to develop, maintain and deliver marketing dashboards, scorecards and reports.#This role interacts with various personnel within Edward-Elmhurst Health to consult, train and support website projects, including Internal Communications, IT Departments and patient experience departments.# # CORPORATE PHILOSOPHY: # It is the obligation of each employee of Edward-Elmhurst Health to abide by and promote the mission and values of the System to ensure that excellent services are delivered with compassion.#### PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except those that begin with the word #May.#) # Support website development: performs content updates and special projects as needed for websites. # Trained on content management systems for employee, consumer, patient Interface with portal vendors to manage project requests and deadlines Assists with gathering website feedback and delivering follow-up to the appropriate departments Supports quality review of content on each website to keep it current, report and fix broken links Assist with periodic website assessments and user surveys Assists with mobile projects # Initiates and performs research and analysis necessary to support marketing and website projects and campaigns. This involves developing expertise on CRM, internal tracking software/tools, developing new tools, web-based research and gathering other industry information/benchmarks: # Regularly assess the benefit, value and ROI of web, internet, intranet and marketing strategies using CRM tool Compiles standard and ad hoc reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly) Responsible for competitor research and identifying industry trends Prepares trend reports and presentations for Marketing, service line departments, Sr. Staff and other management to facilitate project assessments # # Physician Database analyst responsibilities Physician Database quality management # coordination with MedStaff offices and Physician referral to ensure data that flows to website is up to date Coordination with Healthgrades to update Healthgrades database KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: # Bachelor#s degree in Health, Marketing or Business.# # 1-3 years of experience in data marketing research and analysis within Marketing # 1 year of experience with content management systems (CMS) - examples may include SharePoint, Sitecore, WordPress. # 1 year of experience with Google Analytics is required. # Advanced experience with excel is required. # Foundational understanding of digital marketing programs and technologies (CRM, CMS, SEM, Social, Display) # Must have excellent computer skills and the ability to use various software programs and access many data sources, tools and applications # A relatively high level of analytical ability is required.
