The Digital Marketing manager plays a major role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads/customers to achieve Neogen's growth goals. Responsible for creating innovative ideas that tie web, mobile, email, search social and traditional advertising together to provide solutions based on consumer insight and data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work closely with Senior Director of Product Marketing and other team members to create and execute a cohesive inbound digital marketing strategy includes eCommerce site, landing pages, database marketing, SEO, PPC, and display advertising drive traffic, engagement and leads
Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions
Execute and manage display advertising campaigns (websites and social media) to aligned with promotion calendar to promote Neogen and our products and services
Develop and manage online marketing calendar
Coordinate internal design production of campaigns with designers and, manage execution and implementation of programs
Utilize marketing automation systems, e.g. ActOn
Establish processes and best practices in digital marketing, e.g. leads, ROI, KPIs
Analyze, monitor and communicate performance of web-based and digital retention initiatives (eCommerce, Sales, Product Management and Marketing) to forecast trends and to ensure a cohesive and complementary online marketing program
Work across teams to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency
Collaborate with eCommerce Director to assure alignment with digital efforts
Join forces with web developers to improve UE of eCommerce site
Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices to improve technology portfolio and digital strategies
Research competition and investigate benchmarks to improve KPIs
Prepare and manage digital marketing budget
Build, lead and inspire digital marketing team as business expands

Education and/or Experience: Four-year college or university degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications or related field required. Digital marketing, ecommerce, content marketing, marketing automation, and/or CRM experience/knowledge required. 7+ years of digital marketing experience, B2B preferred. 3+ years demonstrated experience leading and/or managing teams. 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Word Processing software; CRM applications, as well as network and browser applications.
