The Digital Marketing Manager supports the Marketing Services group and will provide digital strategy and execution across a range of technology-focused B2B clients in cybersecurity, AI, health IT and other emerging areas. This role will support various teams across the agency and will report to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing. This position is a pivotal role at the agency with excellent growth potential.

This person will ensure innovative approaches to our clients digital programs, while also integrating with our creative, content and PR teams to execute integrated marketing programs flawlessly. The ideal candidate is proactive, keeps up with the latest marketing technologies and best practices, and is incredibly organized with a proven track record of managing up and down. The candidate is a great multi-tasker, used to providing incredible client service on multiple accounts at once.

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Manage multiple facets of client programs including paid strategy development, campaign execution, testing/optimization, and analytics and reporting

  • Propose and implement digital and paid strategy for clients alongside supervisors; develop a content strategy and plans

  • Have a strong understanding of marketing technologies such as Marketing Automation Software (Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.), display and programmatic, search and social ad platforms, video advertising, optimization and testing tools, reporting and dashboarding, CMS and web experience and interactive content platforms

  • Prior experience with measurement, reporting and tag management solutions such as Google Analytics, Databox, Google Data Studio, and Google Tag Manager

  • Knowledge of paid social media advertising options and management on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit and Quora along with running full-scale email programs (nurture, etc.)

  • Regularly counsel client on digital and paid media strategies around both long-term and brand awareness/lead generation-driven programs

  • Manage the overall quality of work on multiple accounts by demonstrating professionalism and team leadership as a day-to-day client contact; assist in successfully growing existing accounts

  • Draft proposals, project budgets, staffing plans and timelines for client projects and new business prospects; partner with Senior Director for responsibility on budgetary issues, including account profitability

  • Understand how to determine online measurement and ROI metrics needed to evaluate campaign results against objectives; evaluate results against objectives, programs, and plans

  • Supervise the work of broader account team members by setting priorities, delegating responsibilities and maintaining deadlines; manage projects and plans to ensure implementation within budget both internally and with vendors

  • Continue to develop and strengthen good relationships with clients and vendors to help grow the practice and grow key accounts

  • Finalize digital and content audits that provide strategic counsel and insight

  • Deliver client-ready materials, including strategic programs/plans

  • Contribute to new business proposals, including research, pitch preparation, ideation, deck draft and presentation

  • Recognize new business and incremental growth opportunities and elevate to supervisors; maintain and develop contacts and networks for new business

  • Manage multiple client campaigns across multiple channels including set-up, optimization, and reporting

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5-7 years of agency experience that includes digital marketing, content strategy and development, and paid advertising including Programmatic, Search and Paid Social

  • Knowledge of paid social media advertising options and management on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit and Quora

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including copywriting

  • Experience managing staff across multi-dimensional account; experience managing quality control of vendors and other team members

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing frequent tight deadlines

  • Ability to "get smart quickly"- understand and learn different business sectors swiftly and have a passion for new and emerging digital technologies

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Broad client experience across business and/or consumer technology

  • Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public administration, English, or related field

This position will lead the marketing automation roadmap, driving continuous improvement and innovation for personalization and segmentation capabilities. Your Work Falls into Three Primary Categories: Email Operations * Manage the end-to-end building, optimizing, reporting and scaling of the enterprise marketing automation program and campaigns as well as manage the email team * Ensure Projects are delivered, and tasks are completed on time * Collaborate with stakeholders in designing and integrating marketing automation strategies based on audience segments that reach and resonate with targeted prospects leveraging existing content and / or generating new content / using signature rules * Develop and execute customer segmentation strategy based on profile data (i.e. using title data, CRM data, job level or classification) to deliver targeted messaging and ensure maximum marketing efficiency * Identify and vet opportunities for automated programs by collaborating with stakeholders * Collaborate with Third Party providers Digital Integration & Optimization Strategy * Understand the drivers and strategy behind FM's business and offerings * Recommend ideas to integrate messaging and strategy across platforms * Work on personalization strategies end to end integrating from email, to website/s, to call-centers * Run A/B tests to continually optimize performance of emails Reporting & Optimization/Systems Integration * Actively run reports and analyze data for actionable insights to improve emails and build the A/B testing strategy * Proactively monitor engagement with content within email as well on-site activity post-click to drive ROI * Help build an ROI model for the email program * Work with the Salesforce Team to make sure data is working as needed and recommend improvements * Monitor and improve the health of the email subscription center and grow the lists and engagement Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 overall years of experience * 5+ years Sales/Marketing/Digital experience with some focus on B2B demand generation campaign activities * Strong understanding and knowledge of email best practices, innovation, and technologies * Demonstrated proficiency in building and enabling capabilities for email marketing, campaigns and programs that leverage integrated platforms or cloud apps (Salesforce, Cvent, CrowdCompass, Data visualization tools, etc.) * Financial Services experience is a plus * Experience with Campaign Automation. Eloqua experience is a plus.
