Under general supervision of the Director of Marketing and Communications, manages, produces and oversees digital content for Gilchrist. Plans, implements and executes the digital marketing strategy. Provides day to day management of digital communications which includes, but is not limited to: website design and management, email marketing, digital content development and publishing; including social media, email and web management of search engine optimization strategies. Leads marketing staff and on digital content management with vendors to assure hosting and content management systems are working at optimal performance. Coordinates photography and video content with marketing and other staff as appropriate. Builds relationships with internal stakeholders to identify staff, patient and family stories to share on all digital platforms. Manages digital budget to ensure Gilchrist is meeting goals at or below budget. Stay on top of digital marketing trends to adjust strategies and increase brand visibility.

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, or related field

Experience

Minimum of 4 years related experience

Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of multimedia production and editing tools.

  • Knowledge of multimedia content management systems.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe design suite, HTML and CC.

  • Working knowledge of digital consumer marketing and social media strategy, platforms and technology.

  • Advanced skill in developing, editing and managing multimedia projects for highly visible organizations.

  • Ability to manage and organize consistent communications across all marketing channels.

  • Knowledge of content management systems and social media scheduling programs including, NetCommunity, Wordpress, MailChimp and Social Sprout

  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently.

  • Strong project management skills. Experience with Trello a plus.

  • Advanced skill in search engine optimization.

  • Advanced skills in oral, written and video communication.

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex multimedia projects.

  • Knowledge of campaign analysis tools and metrics.

Able to sit for long periods of time

Working Conditions

Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, and temperatures. May be subject to eyestrain from long-term computer work.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads marketing teams' development of digital strategies, measures audience reach and other actions resulting from digital efforts.

  • Provides accurate reports on the marketing campaign's overall performance

  • Appraises important metrics that affect website traffic, conversion rates, and target audience

  • Works collaboratively with marketing colleagues, IT staff and other Gilchrist stakeholders to assess feasibility, determine costs versus benefits, prioritize projects and develop multimedia projects that address the organization's needs.

  • Maintains day-to-day operations of Gilchrist digital to ensure accurate and timely posting of information.

  • Assist in the development of long-term multimedia strategies and implementation plans to enhance and improve digital communications.

  • Manages analytics and usability testing and other reporting tools that will lead to increased engagement on Gilchrist digital communication.

  • Oversees and manages search engine optimization strategies and tactics relating to multimedia.

  • Develops vendor relationships to further enhance Gilchrist digital communications and advertising using external resources when appropriate

  • Works with Gilchrist staff to ensure digital messaging is coordinated across all points of publication.

  • Serves as central point of contact for digital content planning, development and maintenance processes. Work with variety of individuals throughout the organization to maximize effectiveness of posting of timely, accurate information.

  • Assists in the development and maintenance of an effective asset library, to include video and photos.

  • Creates and executes a social media marketing strategy, content & editorial calendars.

  • Conducts training on web and social media platforms for other staff as needed.

  • Create and deploy email marketing campaigns that also increase e-revenue

  • Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize our user experience.
