As a member of Ruby, First Tennessee's neobank effort, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of all marketing efforts. Working with both our Director of Product and Marketing and our Creative Marketing Manager, the Marketing Manager will also develop copy for email, social, and paid marketing campaigns, as well administer the distribution of those campaigns. In addition, the Marketing Manager will assist in the development and execution of our partnerships strategy.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with digital marketing execution, and ideally have experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The incumbent should be very well organized and eager to learn.
The Ruby team operates as an autonomous group and offers a unique opportunity to work within a startup-like environment with the resources of a large financial institution. The position will be based in an offsite innovation lab to enable the team to develop their own culture and operating practices.
Direct the day-to-day management of marketing efforts, including all email, social, and paid marketing campaigns at Ruby
Direct the targeting and segmentation processes for digital marketing campaigns
Develop copy included in marketing content
Oversee the distribution of Ruby's marketing campaigns on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud to track the performance of campaigns
Develop and execute on Ruby's partnerships strategy, including identifying key partnership opportunities and managing relationships with partners
Collaborate with the Operations team to analyze customer feedback
Identify and take action on opportunities for Ruby to further improve its marketing strategies
Perform additional duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in a related field
2 to 5 years of marketing experience
Project management experience
Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Excellent writing skills
Experience working on marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of digital and non-digital marketing processes
Strong familiarity with social media platforms
Ability to quickly develop and maintain strong relationships
Skilled at analyzing data
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others within a team environment
Driven to take action
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience launching and marketing a new product or service
Experience working within a startup environment
