The Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager plays a crucial role in devising, implementing, and overseeing online marketing strategies for Fridays. This dynamic marketer is responsible for daily management of multiple digital platforms, ensuring they align with the brand voice, engage the audience, and support the overall marketing and business goals. The focus of this role is to activate multichannel marketing campaigns, drive revenue via e-commerce channels and manage the digital marketing calendar and road map. This role will also monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance as well as facilitate testing & QA'ing digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic team member with and high level of digital marketing expertise and a customer-first mindset, who enjoys working in a dynamic and highly collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development

  • Strategic development and daily management of owned and third-party platforms including our website, app, online ordering, and delivery experiences.

  • Maintain content calendar for Fridays' digital channels which closely aligns with our overall Marketing strategy and key business initiatives.

  • Own delivery channel strategy development including marketing activation, operational improvements, and ensuring the technical health of the delivery experience.

  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners to strategize, ideate and incorporate innovative technologies into existing digital platforms.

  • Cross functional collaboration with Brand team, Engineering, Culinary, and Operations teams to accurately implement promotions, menu changes and new product announcements.

Campaign Management

  • Manage project timelines and work closely with creative and media teams to launch digital campaign deliverables on time.

  • Develop processes for content development, activation, and performance measurement.

  • Ensure on time and quality delivery of initiatives by managing priorities and balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.

Technical & UX Optimization

  • Create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content that drives organic traffic.

  • Overseeing technical aspects like website speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing, crawlability, and resolving issues that might hinder the website's performance in search engine rankings.

  • Streamline the guest interface to drive engagement and sales.

  • Define and build a reusable component library that meets current and future needs.

  • Ensure brand standards are met across web presence.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Regularly analyze data and provide recommendations on how to drive website traffic, increase conversions and enhance our understanding of the customer.

  • Research latest trends and best practices to ensure owned assets are optimized for click-through and conversion.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as Sitecore, WordPress, and/or Drupal.

  • Experience with PowerBI, Brightedge, Yext, Google Analytics, Data Delivers and others.

  • Solid understanding of UX, SEO/SEM and accessibility best practices

  • Experience with third party delivery partners is a plus.

  • Strong interest in e-commerce business and passion for driving results.

  • Advocate of User Centered Design principles and processes

  • Proven ability to dive deep to understand the product, business, and competitive landscape.

  • An agile product mindset - can take in a lot of disparate information and find common themes.

  • Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, a high degree of curiosity and desire to succeed.

  • Well organized, able to multi-task, able to prioritize with minimal direction.

  • Detail-oriented and able to anticipate necessary actions.

  • Strong collaboration skills. Must work well with other people.

  • Creative & resourceful problem solver

  • Must perform well in high pressure situations, balance competing priorities and demonstrate the ability to work independently.

  • Able to build strong relationships with various levels of employees across the organization.
