Digital Marketing Manager
Cooley is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join the Marketing & Business Development team.
Position summary: Under the supervision of the Associate Director, Digital Marketing the Digital Marketing Manager leads efforts in website development, email marketing, content strategy and other marketing systems related projects. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Position responsibilities:
Lead digital projects and initiatives
Oversee digital properties, including the Cooley website, blog platform, email marketing software, packet generator platform, and event-related software
Liaise with outside vendors to plan and drive digital strategy
Advise on and executes best practices for SEO (search engine optimization), SEM (search engine marketing) and content strategy
Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
Identify trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights
Leverage analytics to evaluate and advise on end-to-end client experience across multiple channels and client touch points
Oversee annual digital marketing budget, ensuring accountability and adequate funding
Responsible for managing information, initiatives and tools that are designed to support the marketing and business development efforts of the firm
Understand, evaluate and recommend new ways technology can improve the firm's marketing function internally and externally
Keep current with existing and emerging trends and best practices
Responsible for hiring, overseeing and coaching digital team, if applicable
Serve as direct supervisor and mentor to direct reports
Provide day-to-day supervision of direct reports, ensure compliance with assigned work hours and monitor for compliance with all firm and department policies. Manage staffing coverage, review and process time logs/time off requests
Support business professional development and continued educational opportunities
In collaboration with immediate supervisor and CN HR, participate in hiring, performance appraisals, counseling, termination and other employee lifecycle events

Skills and experience:
Required:
Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required
Ability to travel, as required
5+ years of marketing experience combined with a minimum of 3 years digital marketing experience
Broad knowledge of multiple facets of the digital experience, including web development, content strategy, analytics, user experience and optimization
Experience managing large-scale projects, including budgets, planning and staffing
Track record of developing creative solutions while keeping a focus on objectives and results
Broad technical knowledge, including HTML, SEO, SEM platforms, analytics and search platforms, content management solutions and analytical software
Expertise in web writing, editing and proofreading, specific to an online environment
Preferred:
Bachelor or advanced degree
Prior professional services experience
Supervisory experience

The expected annual pay range for this position is $125,000 - $170,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
