Position Overview:

The Digital Marketing Manager for the US is responsible for the strategy, planning and end to end execution of digital marketing activities targeting audiences in the US. You manage performance marketing and brand media programming. You work collaboratively and are critical in driving a digital strategy that grows the business and creates affinity for the brand in the US. You are passionate about the power of digital marketing to build a brand and to drive results and are constantly finding new ways to deliver an engaging experience to our consumers online. You stay abreast of current digital trends and technologies, and are a thought leader in the digital marketing space.

While your role focuses on the US business, you are globally minded and understand the impact your efforts have on our global business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and deployment of the 1-2 year digital marketing strategy for the US

  • Manage the strategy and execution performance media, brand media and digital partnerships

  • Work in partnership on the local email strategy and manage the production of our brand and ecommerce email programming for the US with the Community Specialist

  • Manage all US performance marketing and brand media efforts, including the local agency relationship

  • Partner with Central Digital Marketing team to deliver SEO optimization for US site

  • Support and consult on email list growth and overall program health; deliver strategic campaigns to support program KPIs

  • Partner closely with all regional teams to ensure streamline communication across all touch points

  • Focus on creating the optimal customer journey from discovery to conversion, through post-purchase, unique to the needs of a US consumer

  • Responsible for bringing digital trends, insights and ideas back to the US marketing team and inspiring best-in-class digital leadership across the team

  • Budget Management

  • Education, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Exceptional skills in digital marketing, website management, email marketing, web analytics tools, search, engine marketing (SEM), display media, social media and search engine optimization (SEO)

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent education and experience

  • Experience leading cross functional teams to deliver creative and content deliverables

  • Abreast of the latest digital trends / technology and constantly learning

  • 5-7 years' experience managing digital marketing programs

  • 1-2 years experience managing email marketing programs

  • 1-2 years managing a media program

  • Experience with digital marketing best practices that result in customer acquisition, retention and growth

  • Experience with web analytics tools (one or more of GA, Webtrends, Omniture)

  • Experience using a CMS and an understanding of the impact they have on SEO

  • Computer Skills:
    Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Analytics/BI tools

  • Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing

  • Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills

  • Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and committed to a high degree of accuracy

  • Creativity and demonstrated ability working in a fast paced environment with a high degree of change

  • Ability to multi- task and work efficiently under pressure

  • Entrepreneurial spirit

The Digital Marketing Manager supports the VP U.S. Marketing and VP Performance Marketing. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee programmatic Display and Paid Social channels to drive brand consideration and new member acquisition. * Lead the strategic development of Digital media plans to fulfill brand objectives. * Spearhead with other internal stakeholders the audience and data strategy to drive efficient performance. * Own end-to-end digital campaign launches through clear cross-functional communication and management of timeline and budget. * Lead optimization process from start to finish, managing to KPIs and adjusting as necessary. * Manage relationships with creative/media agency partners and serve as the lead to produce thumb-stopping, effective channel-first digital creative, from the creation of the brief, to creative reviews, to approval, and QAing before launch. * Responsible for the Digital budget and corresponding pacing, ensuring all partners are delivering, and making adjustments as needed. * Collaborate on the integrated Digital learning agenda with internal stakeholders and agency partners. * Work with WW engineering to implement vendor pixels/tagging as necessary. * Work with media agency/partners as necessary to build custom creative assets. * Manage a Digital Marketing Coordinator ensuring their success and growth at WW.
