The email coordinator will be responsible for project management, execution, and deployment of email and related programs to drive ecommerce site traffic, sales, and customer base growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for detail and collaborating across cross-functional teams to insure error-free and on-time execution. This role will also contribute to reporting on program performance, and will perform analysis of emails to deliver insights to the business.


  • Assist with analytics of email program and sends, and preparing regular and ad hoc reporting of email channel performance

  • Schedule and send emails

  • Assist with targeted / intent emails - building, scheduling, sending, reporting

  • Resolve customer service tickets for loyalty program

  • Assist with project execution of email design to insure all tasks are completed on-time and are within guidelines of email plan

  • Competitor research and analysis to inform on market landscape trends and ideate

  • Coordinate appropriate landing pages for click-thru from email content


  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Familiarity with web analytics (such as Google Analytics)

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Basic understanding of HTML coding preferred


  • Four-year degree preferred

  • At least two years experience in digital marketing, with a preference for email channel experience

VIEW JOBS 2/11/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-05-11T00:00 SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the VP of Marketing and Marketing & PR Manager, this position is responsible for expanding the Frost Science online footprint to build affinity with guests, fans, members, supporters and followers and achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. This position is responsible for building and executing content across all platforms, email marketing and optimization of the museum website. ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities: * Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification * Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to act * Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of companys social content * Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community. * Manage and moderate all third-party review sites and platforms, including drafting responses when appropriate and driving positive reviews and engagement * Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules * Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information * Collaborate with other departments to manage content, identify key players and coordinate actions to align communications strategy along a variety of channels * Responsible for keeping the Frost Science website content updated and dynamic, leading the growth of the Frost Science community * Implement strategies for growing audiences across digital platforms and optimize the museums marketing automation systems. * Optimize the museum website through keywords, meta-tagging and development of original content to support SEO/SEM efforts * Serve as the liaison with museums digital marketing partner * Maintain the website content calendar and assure updates are made on schedule * Take the lead in measuring Frost Science's success online using Google Analytics and other relevant tools. Suggest improved dashboards and reporting based on best practices. Provide monthly and ongoing data analysis and insights. Use data to recommend future content, navigation, and developments for the Frost Science online presence. * Support established website development priorities through coordination and thorough site testing. Coordinate closely with the Frost Science Web Developer / IT department to resolve minor bugs and fixes. * Setup and deploy all email communications using Frost Science branded assets. Manage dynamic lists, custom views, and one-off sends. * Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in relevant field and at least two (2) years experience in social media engagement. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist * Excellent, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills * Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge * Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO * Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels * Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability * Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment * Must be detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills required * Ability to work evenings, holidays and weekends as scheduled * Excellence in English language (oral and written) required; preference for bilingual skills (English-Spanish).
