Job Summary/Description:
KWCH is searching for a self-motivated digital marketing content creator and presenter. The ideal candidate lives and breathes new media. You're willing to experiment to maximize the reach of every reel, short, and TikTok you create. You understand what each audience wants on their preferred platform, and you can't wait to create compelling content to target them. You're not afraid of the camera and get excited about showcasing local businesses and events. If you're ready to create award-winning content, then KWCH and Gray is the place for you!
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Create daily reels, shorts, and TikTok for our news brand, 12 News
Work with the KWCH sales team to highlight local businesses on our social channels and on-air
Work with the 12 News team and marketing teams to develop content strategies to stay ahead of the algorithms
Act as an ambassador for KWCH, KSCW, and 12 News at various station events
Act as talent for on-air and streaming non-news and sales-related programming
Qualifications/Requirements:
BA in Marketing, Film/Video, or another related field or 2+ years of experience in digital marketing
Ability to work independently
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and apps (Express, Rush, etc).
Experienced with Sony and Black Magic cameras
Skilled in mobile cinematography
Basic understanding of graphic design and motion graphics
