Responsibilities

Digital News internships are available for any of the following four categories:

  1. Writing General news, features and/or breaking news for our website and apps
  2. Social Media Engaging and innovative multimedia content for a wide variety of our social platforms
  3. Video/Audio Production Digital Originals and news programming for our social and digital platforms
  4. Data Visualization Interactive, rich media and enhanced content for specials, investigative, documentaries and breaking news

Qualifications/Requirements

NBCUniversal interns must meet the following criteria:

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress. We will consider recent graduates one semester beyond degree.

  • Current class standing of Junior or above

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without a Visa or sponsorship

  • The ability to work at the station, located at 2450 N. First Street, San Jose, CA

About the Role * Collaborate and execute market strategies for a specified geographic market. This strategic plan will include focus on census growth in existing centers, de novo development, service line offerings, home program growth, and integrated care services. * Responsible for driving the strategic plan, and working with our physician, academic, joint venture and operations team to implement and execute on the various elements of the plan. * Partner closely with the Operations team to identify and call on nephrologists, hospital discharge planners and case managers for advancing outreach * Collaborate closely with the entire business development team, office of strategic growth, finance, medical clinical, and most importantly the Operations team to ensure we are providing outreach and representing Satellite Healthcare, Inc. in a professional and compliant manner. Responsibilities, Knowledge and Skills * Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers * Develops and maintains successful relationships through effective and timely communication * Polished presentations skills * Professional and engaging demeanor * Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities with excellence * Ability to work in a fast paced, competitive and changing environment * Presence in the assigned geographic market 4 days a week is required * Proficient in Windows applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Experience/Education * 2 – 5 years business development or operations experience in healthcare required. * Bachelor degree or greater required.
