You will be a member of several (1-6 person) multi-disciplinary teams, and will be responsible for digital circuit design, component selection, schematic entry, integration, and verification. Typical designs will include a microprocessor, FPGA, RAM, FLASH, A/D and D/A converters, voltage regulators, and interface logic. In this technical role, you will be involved in all phases of projects, from requirements analysis and system architecture, through layout, prototype characterization, and product realization.You must be a flexible, results-oriented problem-solver who requires minimal supervision. Projects can vary greatly from one to the next, so you must thrive on variety and enjoy taking on new challenges.
Ideal candidates for this position are engineering students graduating in the near future or recent graduates, with diverse knowledge and a wide variety of interests, especially in embedded systems and wireless communications.
A BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a similar engineering degree from an accredited university.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts. Some contracts may have higher-level clearance requirements.
FPGA design using SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL is a plus.
Applicant should have experience with schematic capture using Allegro Design Entry HDL.
Diverse hardware development experience, with knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, vector signal analyzers, signal generators, etc.
Excellent communications and teamwork skills are essential.
