What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Lead strategic discussions and ideation sessions with business leaders to form productive, trusting relationships

  • Cultivate product positioning and benefit statements, partnering with the marketing team to create collateral that generates excitement and makes it easy for users to adopt and understand the benefits

  • Define a thoughtful, detailed and executable rollout strategy for new features, releases and products

  • Write business cases, perform ROI analyses, and prioritize and write user stories; partner with development team to break things down and plan them into releases

  • Focus on building value for our business, not just adding features; develop innovative and unique product offerings by leveraging knowledge of the key market challenges that exist in competitor products

  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making, while also developing key stakeholder relationships in various locations

  • Engage with business stakeholders to learn about the supply chain industry and acquire a deep understanding of its processes

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Logistics

  • 6 years of experience in a mid- to senior-level product role, including leading meetings and presenting to executives while being their main resource for all things related to technology innovation

  • 3 years of experience leading technology-related product marketing activities, positioning products and partnering with graphics and marketing teams to create videos and collateral materials

  • 2 years of experience in owning and driving strategy for a mobile and/or customer-facing product or application

  • 2 years of experience with in-depth competitive analysis

  • Experience feeding an agile development process

  • Proven experience in leading innovation, influencing stakeholders and driving a product roadmap

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Supply chain experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience

  • Ability to work effectively under stressful or ambiguous conditions by adapting work style, approach and procedures

  • Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal direct supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as needed

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: As the Growth Marketing Manager at Brooklyn Boulders, you will lead our efforts in user acquisition, performance marketing, loyalty, retention and growth. You'll be responsible for driving qualified traffic to the websites, landing pages and social media platforms for the Brooklyn Boulders parent brand, as well as our emerging brands (e.g. BKBX, BKB Wild). Leading our conversion rate optimization strategy, you will use data to inform growth decisions, sharing insights with internal stakeholders from the Sales, Creative and Customer Experience teams and advocating for the most conversion friendly user experience. Your ultimate goal will be to introduce traditional and creative ways to grow our web traffic, conversion rates and community. It's time to get weird with Brooklyn Boulders. YOU WILL: * Develop and scale our conversion rate optimization strategy to drive massive growth * Test and optimize marketing tactics using in-depth knowledge of SEO factors and key algorithm updates. * Prioritize our growth channels, optimizing to drive ROI while working to scale and automate growth processes. * Work with internal and external creative teams to extract the creative assets necessary to execute exceptional marketing campaigns. * Thrive in a fast-paced, complex and ever-changing environment with hundreds of moving pieces at any given time.
