Key Responsibilities:Reporting into the Director of Omnichannel Marketing, this position is responsible for driving Bimbo Canada’s digital strategy through the following key areas:Own eCommerce and Digital Strategy:
Work collaboratively with Brand, Sales, the Omni Marketing Team and Agency partners to accelerate growth of Bimbo Canada’s eCommerce business.
Work collaboratively (internally and with agency partners) to develop and implement the eCommerce and Digital strategy by customer aligned with overall business objectives and evolving priorities.
Manage agency partnership for planning, creative development and implementation of retail media programs (including sponsored search) to drive Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and incremental eCommerce volume.
Plan and conduct eCommerce business reviews and participate in Joint Business Planning (JPB) with key retailer customers.
Proactively monitor growth opportunities, emerging trends and innovative technologies to enhance online presence and sales.
Digital Content Management:
Achieve consistent brand messaging and best in class digital experiences across eRetailers (omni-retailers and pure play), third party applications and ecosystem of owned web platforms (brand.com and engagement hub).
Oversee content management strategy including creation, optimization (SEO) and syndication to eRetailers, third party applications and digital brand properties (websites, landing pages, campaign sites, domains, etc).
Supervise website creation and maintenance in collaboration with agency to ensure all content is accurate and meets platform compliance and requirements.
Identify opportunities for improvement leveraging retailer content quality scorecards and digital shelf tracking tools.
Performance Measurement & Analytics:
Establish and manage scorecard to measure overall performance, campaign effectiveness and return-on-investment (ROI) against pre-defined goals. Leverage test/learn mentality to identify best practices and future investment prioritization.
Responsible for delivering key performance metrics (KPI’s) for eCommerce such as Sales, Market Share, eCommerce Penetration and Share of Search
Develop and manage scorecard to track overall performance, campaign effectiveness and return-on-investment for all initiatives against pre-defined targets.
Leverage test/learn mentality to identify best practices and future investment prioritization.
Thought Leadership:
Be a “go-to” person for digital capabilities with the ability to work across the organization as well as setting direction/expectations with stakeholders, external agency partners and retail partners to influence best-in-class execution.
Provide thought leadership on digital capabilities and adopting new/emerging platforms to create best-in class digital experiences.
Prioritize building new digital capabilities cross-functionally through facilitating training and education in different forums (cross-functional meetings, lunch and learns, etc).
Partner with Global team and other key business units to share and implement learning and best practices for adaptation.
People Management:
Support growth and professional development for one direct report.
Experience & Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
CPG Experience preferred
Minimum 3-5 Years of experience and knowledge of Digital and Ecommerce activation within the Canadian Consumer Packaged Goods industry
Entrepreneurial spirit with an experimentation mentality
Superior project management and multi-tasking skill set
Strong business acumen with excellent financial, analytical, logical & quantitative skills
Demonstrates strong thought leadership and problem-solving abilities
