As a Digital & E-Commerce Analyst 2 at E. & J. Gallo Winery, you will provide meaningful and actionable information and insights on consumer Digital and E-Commerce behavior to improve all aspects of our Digital and E-Commerce strategies. You will also help drive efforts around data governance and analytic platform capabilities.

What You Will Do

  • Designs and implements integrated tracking capabilities across all digital touchpoints (website, media, social, PR, influencers, email, search, etc.).

  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity through data governance.

  • Responsible for data aggregation and partnering with internal and external partners across digital campaigns.

  • Daily management of all aspects of Google Analytics and partners to insure campaign tagging and tracking results in clean and accurate data.

  • Identifies opportunities to combine digital data to offline and in-house data to develop a complete picture of digital effectiveness.

  • Analyzes and provides recommendations to improve Digital and E-Commerce platform performance.

  • Construct analytic data sets for both exploration and modeling.

What You Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of digital analytics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master's degree plus 2 years of digital analytics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly organized, results focused, self-motivated and technically-minded with excellent communication skills.

  • Experience working with Google Analytics 360, Google AdWords, Google Trends, and Webtrends.

  • Experience with dashboarding/visualization tool (Tableau, Datorama, MicroStrategy, etc.).

  • Intermediate excel skills to include experience with pivot tables and vlookups along with a high level of numeracy.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently within a highly collaborative team.

  • Strong attention to detail with proactive follow-through skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders through email, written reports, presentations, etc.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents and reports

What Will Set You Apart

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline which includes advanced data analysis (e.g., statistics, applied mathematics, quantitative psychology, predictive analytics, data science, consumer science, etc.) plus 6 years of digital analytics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master's Degree in quantitative discipline which includes advanced data analysis (e.g., statistics, applied mathematics, quantitative psychology, predictive analytics, data science, consumer science, etc.) plus 4 years digital analytics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.

  • 2 years of e-commerce analytics and SEO experience.

  • Certified in AdWords Fundamentals, Search Advertising, Shopping, and Google Analytics

Your Talent & Gallo | A Perfect Pairing As a Digital Shelf Specialist on our E-Retail team, you will support the management of Gallo's digital shelf on external e-commerce sites. This is a great opportunity to partner with Sales and Marketing teams and external vendors to build and commercialize Gallo's E-Retail digital shelf capabilities, including digital shelf auditing and content syndication. Please note this position is remote and can be located anywhere in the U.S. What You Will Do * Serves as the Syndigo CXH Power User: * Responsible for uploading & maintaining all e-retail content for Gallo portfolio in the Syndigo CXH system, to include copy, bottle shots, mobile hero images, secondary images, and below-the-fold content. * Responsible for ensuring accuracy, relevance and effectiveness of all Gallo content loaded into Syndigo CXH. * Administers content updates on retailer sites and 3rd party marketplaces, including: * Syndigo partner retailers; * Partial Syndigo partner retailers, using a combination of automated and manual updates; * Retailers that require manual content updates * Work may require reformatting assets, converting and retitling images to meet retailer specs, creating URL links, adjusting copy and product titles to meet retailer specs, and populating additional fields required by retailers. * Builds custom templates in Syndigo CXH, when necessary, for retailers or 3rd party platforms. * Collaborates with Marketing Organization to ensure that E-Commerce team has the correct assets for syndication to e-retail sites. Works cross-functionally with Commerce Marketing, Brand Teams, Digital Team, Creative Services, and PR to secure content as necessary. * Serves as the Edge Digital Shelf Auditing Tool Power User: * Leverages auditing platform and associated tools to identify opportunities for improving Gallo's digital shelf on external e-commerce sites. * Audits content regularly to ensure that no outdated content is live on external e-commerce sites (old packaging, images we no longer have rights to use, old accolades that are out of Compliance, etc.). * Develops retailer-specific digital shelf insights, opportunities & action plans. * Tracks digital shelf performance and recaps impact of Gallo and retailer digital shelf improvement initiatives. * Compiles best practices and case studies * Supports E-Commerce Regional team, Customer Development Sales team, and Distributor Management Sales team. * Investigates and resolves content issues on e-retail sites, as needed. * Communicates with appropriate internal teams when new assets are available. Provides consultation and advice to E-Retail sales team. * Participates in project planning for e-retail content update projects and goal setting for digital shelf performance. * Audits competitive e-commerce content and conducts ongoing research and benchmarking across categories to determine best-in-class practices for product detail pages and improve Winery capabilities for e-commerce product detail page content. * Optimizes e-retail product page keywords, titles and copy to improve search ranking performance. * Ensures all uploaded content is Gallo compliant. What You Will Need * High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate. * Bachelor's degree plus 2 years Gallo winery IT, Marketing, Sales or Gallo affiliated or non-affiliated distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of E-Retail/E-Commerce experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. * Strong attention to detail while handling numerous projects with firm deadlines. * Strong writing skills, with high standards for spelling, grammar and accuracy. * Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. * Project management experience. * Computer skill requirements include: Basic MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. What Will Set You Apart * Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business plus 2 years of Gallo sales experience to include a rotation as a District Manager or Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business plus 2 years of E-Commerce experience. * Experience with e-commerce content syndication and digital shelf auditing technologies (Syndigo, Edge/Clavis, Profitero, Gladson, ItemMaster, Kwickee, Salsify, etc.) * Technical skills to include Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator * Hands-on experience working with e-commerce Product Detail pages. * Product knowledge of Gallo portfolio * Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. * Experience interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions. * Knowledge of and experience with applying the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization. * Skilled in written and verbal communications, organization and time management, and problem solving. * Excellent written English and strong verbal communication skills.
