We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a Digital Designer to join our team in Woodinville, WA. The Digital Designer supports our digital and ecommerce initiatives. This position will require an understanding of digital marketing, have expert project management skills, experience working in content management systems, and the ability to coordinate and execute email programs across multiple brands, working with cross functional teams for Direct to Consumer, Clubs and Ecommerce. This position will be involved with ecommerce reporting and compliance. The Digital Designer will work as part of the Digital Design team to craft original experiences across all digital touch points, while promoting consistency throughout. The Digital Designer must have a hunger to do great work and continually elevate creative, while embracing an evolving & fast-paced digital landscape and adhering to brand standards. This position reports to the Associate Creative Director.

What you will do:

  • Design and execute ecommerce and other direct to consumer initiatives, including content, targeting, editorial, testing, delivery and optimization

  • Design development and execution of promotions for all employee e-commerce stores

  • Create and execute wine club transactional emails

  • Protect brand standards in development and execution of all digital marketing activities

  • Responsible for ensuring all emails are entered into our internal compliance for approval.

  • Set up and maintain event promotions in the content management system

  • Execute top-quality designs from concept to delivery, complying with brand standards while executing marketing materials across all digital platforms, including our website, emails, digital campaign suites and advertisements.

  • Utilize a guest-first mentality and have a strong understanding of the guest journey from first-impression to post-purchase.

  • Strive to evolve and grow the digital presence of the company.

  • Self-starter who can work independently and take full ownership of projects

  • Maintains a high-level perspective of the brand, and has a strong understanding of the visual connections needed between print, retail & digital collateral

  • Handles multiple projects at once; adept at multitasking

  • Ability to work in a team environment with a collaborative spirit, providing input as needed

  • Collaboration with internal cross functional teams, (including Marketing, Direct to Consumer, Guest Services, Ecommerce, and Digital Engagement teams) in the coordination and implementation of projects

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of experience in an online and/or E-commerce environment

  • Adobe After Effects motion graphics + video editing

and encoding methods is a plus

  • Proficiency in adobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools

  • Able to handle mid-level photo retouching and image manipulation.

  • Understanding of HTML/CSS - while we don't currently write any code, the candidate needs to have an understanding of how sites and emails function.

  • Understanding of SEO and accessibility

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, detail-oriented

  • Experience with customer databases, including CRM/customer segmentation systems and content management systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to think creatively and turn ideas into actionable items

  • Thorough understanding of the capabilities within digital channels

  • Strong analytical ability, impeccable design sensibility + typographical skills

  • Clear and concise written and oral communications skills

  • Detail oriented with a team-player attitude

  • Proficiency in a broad scope of multimedia applications, strong technical skills, and the ability to conceptualize with writers and clients to produce powerful creative. Bonus Points for an understanding of responsive and adaptive web design

  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies

  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills

  • Enjoys taking ownership and responsibility; collaborates with other resources to ensure successful and timely completion of projects.

  • A passion to develop oneself and stays abreast of new technologies and design strategies

  • Thrives in a collaborative environment

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
