The Digital Designer's main responsibilities are to create and adapt all customer facing communication in the e-commerce channel for L'OCCITANE in the US and CANADA.
The Digital Designer will work closely with the Director of Design and e-commerce marketing team to brainstorm on all conceptual programs and define how to best execute in a brand appropriate way, following guidelines from the L'OCCITANE brand book and the International digital and communication teams.
Design Email and Homepage creatives for L'OCCITANE in the US and CANADA.
Ensure creatives align with POS and CRM communications
Provide optimized final creatives to ecommerce team and outside vendors
Work with Director of Design to conceptualize and execute local content
Accommodate emergency design requests due to fluctuating market changes
Think proactively by brainstorming back up creative needs for changing business needs
Manage the creative process in place and meet agreed deadlines.
Lead weekly meeting with e-commerce team to confirm project timelines are met
Communicate the international toolboxes to local e-commerce team
All other duties or projects as assigned
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Improve 360 customer experience. Ensure all creatives have a strong relationship to the brand (L'Occitane and Erborian).
Produce L'Occitane emails each quarter that out performs LY.
Improve time management/communication by working with project managers, prioritizing urgent deadline requests, and negotiating.
Lead digital design meeting. Maintain positive working relationship with project partners.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
3 years of experience (agency or in-house creative department)
Expert proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Ability to work on assignments from concept to completion and execute all steps in between
Intimate knowledge of latest digital trends including responsive and mobile design
Delivery and results focused, with strong attention to detail
Flexible approach and constantly looking for new ideas
Ability to work well within a team, as a team player
Ability to function in fast-paced environment and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time
