Position Description:

The Digital Curriculum Coordinator is primarily responsible for the research, design, development, and evaluation of all core training and financial education curricula within the Education Center on Ent.com. This role will also structure the curricula in multiple delivery channels such as web, video, interactive and dynamic tools, etc. The Curriculum Digital Administrator collaborates with business partners to provide innovative and meaningful tools in support of Ent's organizational strategic goals.

This position primarily reports up to Digital Marketing within the Marketing Department. There is also indirect reporting to the Manager, Community Education.

The Marketing area provides leadership, advice, management. and execution of Ent marketing strategy and the technology/systems needed to execute that strategy. The department executes and evaluates marketing tactics in support of the organization's strategic and business unit level goals, manages member and market research programs, and ensures quality and consistency in brand voice on all member facing content.


Essential Job Duties and

Responsibilities:

Research, design, and develop digital tools / programs under general guidance from the Marketing/Digital department and Community Education leadership, to include instructor / student materials, job aids, checklists, skill assessments, and other instructional materials using a variety of software programs and technology solutions.

Manage, design, develop, update, and maintain all digital training materials and content in SharePoint for Element and on Ent.com.

Create and maintain policy and procedures documentation on tools developed.

In collaboration with Marketing and Community Education, conduct training needs analysis and surveys on a quarterly basis by gathering data, identifying, and recommending areas requiring development.

Develop analysis instruments to support needs analysis efforts such as creating / maintaining surveys that use open-ended (essay) and closed-style questions (multiple choice) for collecting data; preparing instruments in written, verbal, and / or electronic formats.

Maintain liaison with all departments and key managers of the Credit Union to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency of all training materials provided.

Creates project plans to ensure all instructional design projects meet organizational timelines.

Assists with the preparation and distribution of training materials and calendars.

Minimum formal education required for this position:

Knowledge consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Education or similar field of study.

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of "Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2+ years' of accounting experience" could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master's Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience.

Minimum work experience:

2+ years' Content/Curriculum Development

(Preferred) 1+ years' experience with omni-channel marketing.

(Preferred) 1+ years' experience in a financial institution.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of personal finance and financial literacy

  • Advanced knowledge principles related to, instructional design and development is required. This includes being proficient with new technology advancements relevant to instructional design.

  • Expertise in development of interactive digital tools such as surveys and quizzes.

  • Experience in developing, writing, and editing digital content

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple diverse projects.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and consistent, logical, and effective decision-making skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Proficient in Survey Monkey or related website development tools

  • Comfort with content management systems such as Wordpress or EPI Server

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Certifications required:

  • None required
  • (Preferred) Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or other similar certification

Environmental, physical and psychological requirements:

  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, currency, or coin, and operating a telephone. Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to address an audience verbally with clarity. Must be able to point or gesture, use visual aids (write on dry-erase board, etc.), and perform other basic classroom functions. Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Salary Starting Range: $48,000+
