A storyteller that will use both Marketing and Communication to build an experience for each brand. A creative specialist who will tell stories of women and fashion through content, advertising, brand strategy, digital engagement and product presentation. Partner to find new ways we will use new channels ranging from retail stores to social media, Marketing & Communication teams connect the brand experience.

We are looking for a hands-on, brand-obsessed, marketing-focused Digital Creative Director to build and lead the digital brand creative team across the Plus Segment. You will be tasked with creating and executing the digital creative vision in partnership with the Creative Brand Directors to craft a unique brand experience for each distinct brand. You will manage and cultivate a team of world-class creatives responsible for delivering high-performing, brand elevating, creative assets for lanebryant.com, cacique.com, catherines.com, social media, and digital media.

Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling stories and digital journeys across all digital touch points

  • Build a best-in-class creative team, provide clear direction, brand standards and objective critiques to team members

  • Ensure consistency of brand standards across all digital touch points

  • Inspire and lead a team to push and grow professionally

  • Responsible for relationship building and the brand stardard execution

  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the industry and apply to the digital strategy

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with leaders within the creative team and the company

  • Own the process for creating digital design work internally and with outside partners

Qualifications

  • Deep experience in branding, strategy, interaction and visual design

  • Knowledge of new platforms and the evolving media landscape

  • Deep understanding of what it takes to design for today consumer's changing visual appetite and decreasing attention span

  • 10+ years of experience in design (agency experience is a huge plus) that's represented by a portfolio of work

  • 7+ years of experience in digital design

  • 5+ years of experience managing 7+ designers, art directors, writers

  • Expert proficiency in Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe CC, prototyping, Responsive web design.

  • Understanding of web systems: HTML, CMS, JavaScript ideal

  • Effective and clear presentation skills
