Digital Content Specialist

The Opportunity:

Our Engagement, Communications, and Marketing team is seeking a digital content specialist to support content production for Booz Allen's employee communications channels, ensuring compelling content and creative ideas are effectively delivered to employees.

We are a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to fostering a vibrant and engaging communication ecosystem. From campaigns and events to daily, digital-first experiences, we work collaboratively to connect and inspire our employees.

As part of our team, you will coordinate and publish multimedia content to support the firm's Corporate Communications digital transformation and help to further our organization's greater mission. You will collaborate with communications colleagues across the company to publish submitted content to the Intranet, email, digital signage, computer lock-screen, and news content management systems (CMS). You'll conduct reviews and tests of content before final deployment and publication. You will routinely update email distribution lists and aid in regular intranet page content audits. You'll help content contributors understand digital channel templates and governance fundamentals. Finally, you will support other Corporate Communications team's projects as needed.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital content production

  • Experience in digital content production (video/design) and content management systems

  • Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously using project management software

  • Experience with translating complex technical ideas and features into easy-to-understand concepts for stakeholders

  • Experience with providing strategic counsel based on data

  • Experience in digital content, channel management, and community management

  • Experience with using MS Teams

  • Knowledge of digital experience best practices

  • Ability to provide a work portfolio

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Multimedia Production, or Journalism

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with building relationships in a matrixed environment, leveraging networks to develop creative digital-first solutions

  • Experience with leveraging out-of-the-box tools to build engaging digital experiences

  • Experience with user experience design and design thinking

  • Experience with SharePoint, Firstup, and Microsoft Viva

  • Ability to demonstrate an outcome-focused mindset

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage your own time, have a keen eye for detail, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, hybrid environment

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a dispersed team

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and project management skills

  • PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
