Digital Product Content Manager Opportunity

About the Role

The Digital Product Content Manager will play a key management and implementation role in the Claire's digital platform, ensuring all our product content is best in class and product conversion is maximized, while managing and driving a product content team in their daily and wider roles. This role is accountable for the speed and accuracy of all product content globally, developing product-to-site processes, and measuring efficacy of team. The Digital Product Content Manager must ensure that they deliver on their areas of responsibility in a timely manner, working to tight deadlines and deliver an outstanding service.

  • Accountable for accurate, timely publishing of all global product content, including all product copy, product reviews, categories, and site navigation on both Claire's and Icing websites.

  • Manage the collection, collation, and enrichment of all product data for 8000+ products globally.

  • Develop processes and procedures to insure that all new products are identified and ready for launch on website(s) in advance of inventory arrival.

  • Determine product content standards, attribution, and optimal content paradigm to ensure maximum conversion via search and browse.

  • Coordinate with Digital Marketing and Trade to ensure content and categorization is in line with the requirements of Marketplace channels (Amazon, eBay, etc.).

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Photography & Stock Management team in Ecommerce to ensure categories are fully represented with stock and visibility onsite.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to products publishing and visible on site. Serve as SME on all product to site issues.

  • Manage a team of product content specialists; monitor and improve their quality and quantity of work output.

  • Create an environment of fact-based decision making, using analytics to determine best practices.

  • Manage and maximize collection and use of product reviews to improve conversion and product development.

  • In coordination with site merchandising, drive and coordinate site experience as it relates to products, such as product sets and bundles, categorization, and product attribution for left navigation filters.

  • Ensure the prices / descriptions displayed on web are correct

About You

  • 3-5 years' experience in ecommerce product enrichment processes and best practices

  • Excellent management and leadership skills

  • Possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to multi task and prioritize workloads in a busy trading environment.

  • Trading mentality needs to be demonstrated to ensure all products' content is maximized

  • Experience and knowledge of SEO to ensure product copy meets current SEO requirements

  • Detail oriented; accuracy of data is key responsibility in this role

  • Exceptional skills in MS Excel required, strong skills in databases preferred.

  • Enjoy thinking outside of the box when faced with challenging situations

  • Have a keen interest in retail and fashion and are already familiar with online websites

Position Summary The Global Hosting Product Manager III is responsible for managing the entire life cycle of existing products from product design, to solution design, to build, and implementation. Works with Service and Technology Owners, for existing products, to deliver leading edge Infrastructure/Platform Services that the drive the automotive retail industry. Additionally, this position is responsible for collecting and defining basic product requirements writing user stories and developing business cases. Position Responsibilities & Essential Functions * Manage the entire product lifecycle, from planning & definition through development, launch, and retirement phases. * Gather functional requirements from business stakeholders, collaborate with project team members to identify feature details and document specifications. * Create, maintain and communicate the Service Catalogue entries and roadmap for your product offerings. * Author epics (big ideas), creating user stories, and work with your sprint teams to decompose user stories into development tasks. * Define solutions to meet the business and customer needs and create the business case justification for pursuing such initiatives. Create a compelling value proposition for your products and initiatives. * Manage the development backlog for your sprint teams including authoring stories, managing grooming sessions.. * Work as a key member of a Launch Team to coordinate all activities required to prepare the product for a successful launch including development and execution of launch plan. * Collaborate with Business Unit leadership to understand and plan the operational requirements associated with launching and supporting your product including all activities required for service and IT/IS readiness. Qualifications & Job Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, or equivalent job experience * Five years of Product Management and/or Product Planning experience. * Previous experience in an Infrastructure as a Service/Platform as a Service / Cloud environment. * Detail, action, and process oriented to drive projects and initiatives to completion. * Ability to interact with customers to listen, organize, and champion projects. * Proven ability to simplify inherently complex concepts and plan solutions necessary to iteratively address market needs. * Excellent inter-personal skills with ability to negotiate and persuade team members and key decision makers. * Strong track record of client collaboration and market assessment. * Demonstrated record of turning ideas into realities. * Exceptionally strong written and verbal communications with a strong aptitude for succinctly presenting thoughts and ideas to senior internal and external stakeholders. * Ability to listen and consider the points of view of others, collaborate and build consensus within cross-functional areas. * Ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere. * Highly motivated 'go-getter' who is driven to achieve business results with the ability to remain positive and focused on moving forward, regardless of obstacles. * Travel 25% of time to meet with customers and business partners.
