We are looking for a Digital Content Editor/Writer to collaborate with skilled professionals transforming government IT. This IT practitioner should have a strong background in editing, preferably with experience in financial or benefit content, to work on content within digital tools, such as online applications or wizards. Focusing on user-centered agile delivery processes, you will apply your end-user subject matter expertise and functional-specific experience to help edit and create content for clients based on their business objectives or end-user needs. The content required for this type of work is concise, instructional, and written in plain language. It takes the user logically from screen to screen, through a series of steps. This role will likely also involve creating and editing educational/instructional landing pages for tools.
This role requires a U.S. Citizenship or a Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) and ability to work remotely with geographically dispersed teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and apply set style guidelines and an established tone, writing and editing content for unique financial and health topics.
Use plain language writing and editing skills, collaborating and coordinating with your teammates and contract partners, seamlessly
Consistent use of terms and phrases used throughout individual digital tools, as well as the larger website
Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products, ensuring factual accuracy of content
Organize and manage content using the preferred Content Management Tool - Drupal
Implement a content strategy based on business objectives and end users' needs
Work closely with stakeholders and elicit requirements from them
Understand AI and SEO, applying that knowledge to content creation
Interface with internal and Government management personnel.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree with minimum 7 years of related experience or Associate's Degree with minimum 9 years of experience in relevant fields
Experience in facilitating technology-based discussions including implementing information technology policies and procedures
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Extensive experience writing and editing customer-facing web content
Experience working on digital tools, like online applications or wizards
Keen attention to detail (grammar, style guide, context within the larger site)
Proven experience in IT delivery, working with high performing teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in an Agile environment with understanding of software development lifecycle and technical in app components
Experience using a Content Management Tool
Experience presenting to senior leadership
Consistently ensuring business is always conducted with integrity and that behavior aligns with Government CIO policies, procedures, and core competencies
Practiced self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to work remotely with geographically dispersed teams
Preferred:
Familiarity with platforms like Drupal and Github
Experience working with digital financial or benefit content
Experience working as part of a team alongside developers
Prior Experience working on government contracts, in particular with Veterans Affairs
Federal Background Investigation REQUIRED please read.
The selected candidates for this position must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated government background investigation. This background investigation requires U.S. citizenship and will include an investigation of your financial, education, employment, medical, residence, and personal records. The cost of this investigation will be paid by TWD & Associates.
