The specialist for content and online marketing will drive consistent with Volvo Penta marketing communications strategy that differentiates and effectively communicates the business value of Volvo Penta products and services, to support the achievement of Volvo Penta strategic & business objectives.
The Volvo Penta of the Americas Marketing team members work together and across the organization to ensure the Volvo Penta brand experience is consistently incorporated into all product and commercial marketing initiatives. The team drives desired customer perceptions and behaviors across all print, digital and experiential communication channels for multiple vertical markets and customer/application segments. They also represent and engage Volvo Penta in Volvo Group marketing and communications initiatives across the Americas.
Drive and coordinate pre-production and post-production of video content in accordance to Volvo branding standards and an integrated marketing communication approach.
Accountable for project planning, communication, and delivery of video content both in house as well as on location.
Ownership and accountability of all duties assigned to achieve business plan objectives, quality, and delivery deadlines to include continued improvement of video content.
Develop content and online communications content consistent with Volvo Penta overall marketing strategy, and brand platform
Drive and manage the development and continued improvement of Volvo Penta marketing through linear/non-linear multimedia.
Participate and contribute to the development of Volvo Penta North American Digital Marketing communications strategy and brand image.
Coordinate photography sessions of Volvo Penta events and employees to help promote a positive VPA culture, and diversity and inclusion.
Establish and maintain a strong working relationship and exchange of information with sales, communications, aftermarket, dealer operations, and other departments to ensure coordination and maximize results
Work in a team environment and collaborate with marketing, sales, aftermarket, and engineering teams to script, storyboard and deploy videos to promote VPA brand and position.
Ensure adherence to all Volvo Group processes & policies
Perform other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support Volvo Penta goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Creative design, multimedia and development
Strong audio/visual skills regarding video creation and content
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Photoshop, Acrobat)
Able to work in a team environment to effectively communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Strong prioritization, organization, and planning skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
Self-initiating and empowering using sound business judgment
Creative problem resolution
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communication or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-4 years' experience in audio/visual/video content creation
Experience in Video editing tools (Adobe Premier Pro, After effects)
Experience in Music editing tools (Adobe Audition)
Experience in Graphic Design Tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design).
Experience in Direct marketing and enrollment video productions
Works in office, virtual, and onsite environments
Able to perform duties effectively in a fast-paced environment whether working autonomously or under direction.
Ability to travel is required domestic and global (approximately 15-20%)
