Digital Content Coordinator
The Digital Content Coordinator will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing a diverse range of content across multiple digital platforms, including websites, social media channels, and digital newsletters. A significant focus will be on video production, creating high-quality, engaging video content that effectively tells the story of the Gamecock student experience. As a storyteller at heart, the Digital Content Coordinator will craft engaging and relevant content that enhances the Gamecock student experience and fosters a vibrant campus community.
Day to Day for this position:
Develop and implement a social media strategy for the division
Coordinate the division's social media presence
Create multimedia content including videos, graphics and photographs
Lead and mentor student workers

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 1 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field. Experience in digital content creation and management, particularly within higher education or a similar setting. Experience with social media graphic design, video production, and photography.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Proficiency with digital media software tools and platforms, including content management systems and social media platforms. Ability to lead a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Strong understanding of digital analytics and their application to content strategy.
