Position Purpose:

Responsible for conceptualizing and developing a wide range of communication campaigns. Developing web site content for new and existing products; crafting copy for marketing, sales and member collateral; producing internal communications; and providing company-wide editorial support.

Provide digital communications viewpoint in the planning, implementation and evaluation of communications campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various website and campaign performance reports and analysis, including portal metrics and e-mail campaign effectiveness

  • Manage social media presences across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Research relevant developments in digital publishing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and social media and understand ongoing innovations

  • Write and edit marketing and sales materials to promote products.

  • Write and edit presentations, training materials, direct mail campaigns, product overviews, etc.

  • Creates copy for member-focused materials.

  • Manages, writes and edits content for our suite of online products and websites. Contributes articles, news stories and company updates for internal Intranet sites

  • Writes, edits and distributes all associate and other large group internal email communications.

  • Assist with executive presentations to associates

  • Assist with content strategy, analysis and selection during vendor/partner relationships.

  • Provide editorial guidance, leadership and problem-solving skills to the junior members of the editorial team as well as colleagues from other units.

  • Assist with other special projects as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English or related field, required

  • Minimum three to five years experience in Marketing, Communications or related field, required

  • Experience in web development or web content management, preferred.

Your responsibilities * Main responsibilities: * 1. Develop and implement an integrated media plan to advance the power business brand identity in the country that aligns with ABB's strategy and messaging; broaden awareness of the ABB Power Business' market leadership and increase the visibility of its products and services across key stakeholder audiences in the US. * 2. Work closely with stakeholders to identify and develop compelling stories, pitches, press releases, both general and technical ones, speeches, presentations, fact sheets, and position papers for the US market * 3. Proactively engage with national, business and key trade media independently and by working with agencies * 4. Support key leaders in the country with thought leadership content, media guidance and speaking opportunities * 5. Work with the global team to create and manage announcements and campaigns, media strategy. Ensure global messages are localized for the US market * 6. Provide direction and support to all media spokespersons in the US region as needed. Ensure key leaders receive media and crisis communications training * 7. Proven ability to lead and plan complex activities including but not limited to synthesizing market/product data from multiple businesses and developing compelling stories that support the company's key messages and strategy * 8.
