We are hiring a Digital Commerce Execution Manager to join our rapidly expanding digital commerce strategy team as a part of the larger Campbell Soup Meals & Beverages Sales organization. This person will be responsible for building and managing the execution of eCommerce go-to-market plans at our Kroger supporting the entire Meals & Beverages portfolio. As the Digital Commerce Execution Manager, you will be responsible for driving our eCommerce business performance and growth strategies at Kroger. This role works closely with the Kroger Customer Sales Team to drive integrated omnichannel growth strategies including optimizing online assortment, maximizing online availability, managing paid search budget, collaboration with Kroger digital buyer, key contact for Kroger Precision Media team developing integrated marketing programs with shopper activations.

This role also works closely with the broader Digital Commerce Strategy team to understand business drivers via data analysis, partnership with the Digital Content team to ensure compliance and our media / shopper agency counterparts to build holistic search and activation strategies.

The Digital Commerce Execution Manager, Kroger will report to the Director of Digital Commerce Strategy & Capabilities who sits within the broader Campbells Meals & Beverage sales organization with a strong linkage to Kroger Customer Sales Team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Development of Kroger specific Digital Commerce strategy & execution of solutions

o Lead the development of insight-backed strategies and tactics for CSC Meals & Beverages at Kroger, inclusive of Pickup, Delivery, Ship, and Vitacost

o Utilize, and be the expert, in Kroger's digital commerce solutions, both search and shopper based

o Key owner of relationship with Kroger eCommerce merchants

o Identify and vet new digital initiatives with Kroger and provide thought leadership on how we can find a win-win on Kroger.com

o Leads Digital Commerce Strategy inputs in all Kroger JBP Meetings

o Strategic partner to Kroger Customer team in development of AOP

  • Leads partnership with the Kroger Precision Marketing Group to drive best in class strategy, plans, and execution

  • Direct the budget of search, digital offers and onsite investment and in-store activation solutions

Responsible for preparation and review of monthly performance review and planning meetings with Kroger's eCommerce buyer

  • Owns product listing optimization, item set up and identifying and evaluating new opportunities for product listing optimization (One World Sync)

  • Works with HQ Digital Content Strategy team to regularly update digital content in accordance with changes in product strategy, consumer dynamics and best practices

  • Works directly with our media and shopper agencies to execute the Digital Commerce objectives and goals, working collaboratively to create compelling activation plans, track performance and adjust plans to respond to analytics

  • Partner hand in hand with Campbell Kroger customer sales team (CSLs) to embed Digital Commerce into business conversations to ensure Omni experience is maximized and enhance day to day performance

  • Opportunities to present Kroger performance analyses and opportunities to internal Brand Marketing teams

  • Stays on top of marketplace patterns, trends and tools and champions a strategic Kroger growth strategy for the organization

  • Works closely with key counterparts on other customers to collaborate and share learnings to influence the overall Digital Commerce Strategy for Meals & Beverage division

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at a retailer, CPG or agency, strongly preferred to have eCommerce experience at some point

  • Ideal candidate will have had experience with Kroger's digital team, processes and tools, or prior experience working directly for or with Kroger, 84.51, or Kroger Precision Marketing

  • High level understanding of analytics and storytelling

  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be self-starters with a deep sense of accountability, creativity, resourcefulness, and a desire to collaborate and step in for the good of the team

  • Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo - always thinking of ways to improve/grow

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Superior verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$85,900-$140,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
